What Happened?! BTS FF [COMPLETED]

Chapter 4

Dahyun's P.O.V:

I feel so tired, I have been delivering pizza all day without any rest, and I guess people are really lazy to cook their own food but who can deny that pizza is just delicious.

I finally finished for the day so I got changed and headed out of the shop saying goodbye to my boss and the other workers; I walked with quick steps so that I could get home quickly.

~CRASH~

The sudden noise made me jump, I looked around and I saw a garbage can rolling on the floor, a little after that another crash was heard, curiosity got the best of me so I walked towards the sound and I could hear the sounds of punches and kicks and someone letting out a scream, I stood behind a wall and moved my head just a little to get a peek.

I was shocked, two hooded men were beating up another man, they kept kicking and punching, you could see him choking out blood from his mouth.

My hand covered my mouth from this horrific scene I didn't know what to do, I wanted to scream and tell them to stop but if you knew me well I was weak, I got my phone out to call the police but coincidentally sirens were heard in the street, I looked over and the two men stopped what they were doing and ran off leaving the man who looked helpless sliding down the wall.

I sighed with relief. I quickly ran over to the man, I looked at his swollen face, I came to realise that it was Jungkook.

"J-Jungkook?! Are you okay?!"I asked panicking.

"D-Dahyun?" He couldn't speak properly because of the pain.

"Jungkook, d-don't talk, let's go to the hospital." I quickly wrapped his arm around my shoulder for support, with all my strength I picked him up from the floor and walked to the nearest hospital. Throughout the journey I could hear Jungkook hissing from the pain, my heart sank knowing how he must have endured the beats from the men.

I sat in the hospital room watching Jungkook as the doctor was treating his wounds; he had bruises and streams of blood from his stomach and face. The doctor had finished giving treatment and said that he can rest for a while and then head back home, I was glad that it was nothing serious.

"Dahyun, thank you for saving me."

"I-It's ok, are you okay?"

"I'm fine it's not a big deal, you can go home I can be fine by myself."

"No I will stay, you're not staying here for the night so we might as well go home together since we live next to each other." I honestly didn't know what was wrong with me, I would feel so scared just by looking at another human or even casually talking to them, but with Jungkook somehow he feels trustworthy and makes me feel safe.

Once Jungkook had a rest we headed out of the hospital and started walking towards our home. It felt awkward so I decided to start a conversation.

"If you don't mind me asking, why were those guys beating you up?"

"I bumped into them."

"What?" I was confused.

"Well I had a bad day and as I was walking home I bumped into them by accident, I felt miserable so I forgot to apologise."

My mouth formed and 'oh'. But why didn't he fight back?

"Why did you have a bad day?" I asked.

There was a moment of silence and Jungkook was looking at the ground.

"It's okay you don't have to te—"

"I met my ex girlfriend."

I looked down hearing that, I felt guilty for asking the question.

"It was unexpected, I was just going to the shop and there she was looking at me, she just smiled at me as if nothing happened between us."

"Did you talk to her?"

"I wanted to avoid her, but she just talked to me so I couldn't ignore."

Jungkook was clenching his fist.

"Why did you break up?" Okay Kim Dahyun what the fuck are you doing? Are you trying to get yourself killed?!

"She cheated on me, we were together for 3 years and all that time I didn't know she was seeing another man, to her it meant nothing but to me it was something, she broke my heart and after that day I grew to despise her, seeing her now makes my blood boil with anger."

After our conversation I didn't realise we had arrived at our apartment, I said bye to Jungkook and headed inside my house. Jungkook is a really nice person, why would she cheat on him?

Jungkook's P.O.V:

I don't know why I told Dahyun about my past, I just feel like Dahyun is someone I can trust. She takes all the negativity away from me, and makes me feel calm around myself.
