"I panicked okay..."
"Even if you were panicking, why did you have to drag Dahyun in your situation?" Jin hyung said.
'I honestly have no idea myself' I thought.
"So now you two are playing a fake engaged couple?" Rap Mon hyung asked.
"I guess so." I replied faintly.
"Hey I think Jungkookie did a great thing if you think about it." Everyone including me looked at Hoseok hyung confused.
"Look, Jungkook's ex and Dahyun's ex coincidentally are a couple and they both did unforgivable things to Dahyun and Jungkook in the past. If Dahyun and Jungkook play a fake engaged couple it will kill both of their exes with guilt." Hoseok hyung explained.
"And your point is?" Jimin hyung said.
"My point is.... let's see how long both Jungkook's ex and Dahyun's ex can last together with the guilt piercing through their minds."
"So like a revenge?" Taehyung hyung said.
"No, not revenge that will sound like Jungkook is using Dahyun, think of it as a punishment for them being two timers." Hoseok hyung continued.
"Who knows both Jungkook's ex and Dahyun's ex could be cheating on each other right under our noses." Suga hyung said.
Honestly I don't even know if I should take this situation as a good thing or a bad thing.
Dahyun's P.O.V:
I just finished shopping for groceries and was heading out of the shops, thanks to Jungkook I feel like I can overcome my fear of insecurities.
I stared at the ring that Jungkook bought yesterday, it may seem like a prop for this whole acting, but for some reason it makes my heart flutter, my mind replays the scene that happened yesterday when Jungkook placed the ring on my finger, I can't help but smile and blush.
"It's nice to see you happy these days."
I froze at the sudden voice, I didn't want to turn around because I was afraid of who it might be.
"Didn't you miss me Dahyun?" It makes me feel sick hearing my name roll of off his tongue so easily. I can hear his footsteps behind me suddenly stop in front of me. He lifted my face with his fingers underneath my chin, I removed his hand away from my face.
"Feisty are we?"
"Jinyoung move out of the way."
"Aye, it's been so long why are you being so cold?"
"Please, I'm not in the mood to talk to you." I moved to the left but he did the same, I then moved to the right but he does the same thing again trying to block my way, I was starting to get annoyed. He suddenly grabs my hands and stares at the ring.
"Awww, are you trying to get home to your sweet fiancé. But we all know that he loves his ex girlfriend more than you and you still love me." He tilted his head and smirked. I scoffed at his arrogance.
"Take your dirty hands off her." We both turned around to the owner of the voice, I don't know why but this sudden relief washed over me. Jungkook walked towards us and snatched my hand away from Jinyoung, he took my hand in his and intertwined our fingers together, I got startled a bit by his sudden action.
"Dahyun would never love a sick jerk like you, and I will never love a cheater more than my fiancé, so you can leave her alone." Jungkook glared at Jinyoung.
"Okay I surrender, I should have never said anything absurd like that to your soon to be wife." Jinyoung grinned and shot me a wink.
"Let's go jagi." Jungkook smiled at me and then we walked past Jinyoung.
"Are you okay?" Jungkook asked.
"Yeah I'm fine thanks to you, by the way how did you know where we were?"
"I was heading to the shops but I heard your voice telling Jinyoung to move out of the way." I felt happy hearing his explanation, I had this sense of protection.
"Here let me carry the bags for you." He gestured his hands towards me, waiting for me to hand it over.
"No it's okay, I can handle it." I said reassuring him that I'm fine, but he suddenly took a hold of the bags.
"I can't make my fiancé carry them by herself." He winked at me, I felt my cheeks heating up immensely and I giggled at his remark.
Jungkook's P.O.V:
Dahyun I want you to always smile like that no matter how hard it might be for you to forget him.
