Chapter 5

Dahyun's P.O.V:

Today is my day off and I don't know what to do, should I go out? Should I stay here? This is so frustrating.

The weather is great today, maybe I should go out. I put on my white short-sleeved t-shirt with a navy knee length skirt, I wear my brown flat shoes along with a brown bag and lastly I take my sunglasses because there will be a lot of people outside and I just want to avoid them.

I don't mean it in a rude way it's just........ Too complicated to explain.

I went to open the door but immediately stopped as I saw seven guys standing in front of me, not just any seven guys it was my next door neighbours, for some reason I felt embarrassed so I hung my head low.

"C-Can I help y-you?" I stuttered.

"Sorry to disturb, we basically thought that we should visit you since you are our new neighbour." Jin started.

"We know this is kind of late but we made some rice cakes to welcome you, it looks like you are going somewhere, we can come back another time." He continued.

"Wait!" What am I doing now?

"I can go out another time, you can come in since you invited me over to your house." Okay Kim Dahyun, what are you doing?! You were meant to go out, but the rice cakes looks good.

I made way for the seven of them that came through my door; they sat down on the sofa. It was awkward for all of us; I prepared some fresh juice for the seven of them.

"Your house feels so comfy." Rap Monster said.

"T-Thank you."

"Do you live alone?" Suga asked.

"Yes."

"Do you have a boyfriend?" I froze at that question.

"N-No."

I gave each of them their juices, and offered them the rice cake because honestly I won't be able to finish all of that. Jungkook headed over to the balcony while the others and I were just chatting about the neighbourhood, honestly I felt warm inside when we were talking, and they felt like a family.
