"We are going to have to run, you know that don't you" Jimin raised his eyebrows and smiled at me.

"I don't do running " I whined as he dragged me by the hand.

He laughed, "and I don't do walking through the pouring rain without an umbrella."

I was about to reply before he began to run at full speed, jumping and shouting as he went.

I stood in the rain, my hair clung to my shoulders in a wet tangle and raindrops ran like tears down my face.

It had been 3 weeks since the incident with Min Yoongi.

Jimin had warned Yoongi to stay clear of me. I didn't have a single hope that he would actually listen to Jimins request but he did. And for some reason that made me feel even more uneasy.

I knew that it wasn't over, and every day I was waiting for something to happen. It was just a matter of time before he showed up again. Maybe this time he would finish me for good. This time the blood on his hands would never wash off.

"Jimin slow down" I shouted and started to run towards him, trying not to slip on the wet ground.

The feeling of my feet hitting the pavement became more consistent as I increased the pace I was running at. The cold air I inhaled felt fresh in my lungs and my hair blew out behind my back.

I came to a stop as I crashed into Jimin, his scent hitting me as hard as the impact of his sturdy shoulders. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer into him whilst I tried to catch my breath. I tilted my head up to look at him and as soon as our eyes met we both burst out into uncontrollable fits of laughter. His eyes sparkled and his smile caused small dimples to appear at either side of his mouth. He looked so happy like this, happier than he had in a long time and in that moment I lost myself in his eyes just like I used to. It was just me and him verses the rest of the world.

Bring it on , I thought to myself.

I wasn't going to let anything tear us apart ever again.

"Jimin?" I stopped laughing and just looked at him, trying to take him all in. Trying to memorise every feature of his face, every flaw and every blessing.

Suddenly his whole expression changed from carefree to concerned.

"Yeah, what's wrong?" he asked.

"Nothing, I was just going to ask-"

"Ask me what?" He looked worried, scared. And something else I couldn't quite put my finger on...guilty?

"Can we stay like this forever?"

Relief flooded his face but he didn't answer, just squeezed my shoulders in reassurance.

"Are you okay?" I asked. Now it was my turn to be concerned.

"It's nothing" he replied hastily, pushing me away slightly.

I decided to shrug it off, "You still didn't answer my question"

He laughed nervously, "I was going to say we could but-"

"But what?"

"I'm starving, let's go back to yours and eat"

"Aish Jimin" I laughed and pushed him.

"C'mon let's run"

"I already told you, I don't run" but it was too late, he was already half way home.
