Jimin's POV

I woke up to the warmth of Jungkook's body beside me. His chest was rising and falling slowly, deep in sleep. I studied the way he was lying. On his side directly facing me, his hand resting upon my thigh. A lock of brown hair fell over his eye and I smiled to myself, lifting my hand up to push it back behind his ear. His eyelids fluttered at the contact and he let out a soft sigh, pulling the duvet closer to him.

"Jimin?" His voice was muffled.

"Yeah?" I answered, shuffling towards him.

"Have you got to go back to the station today?" he poked his head out of the duvet and looked at me. His eyes looked sad.

"I'm not sure" I wrapped my fingers around the edge of the duvet and pulled it towards me, a grin settling on my lips.

"Hey" Jungkook stuttered, tugging it back. A flash of skin caught my attention as I stripped it away from him. He was shirtless underneath the cover and I let out a slight cough, throwing it back onto him.

"Fine you can have it" I grumbled, nuzzling into my pillow.

I was no longer facing Jungkook but I could feel him smiling behind me.

Turning around, I shoved his shoulder. Maybe a little too hard.

"Aish Jimin, don't push me off the bed" he scrambled back up beside me and grabbed his pillow. Ducking, I just about missed it flying directly towards my head.

"Let's have another pillow fight" Jungkook suggested. After I recovered, I picked up the pillow and chucked it back over to him.

With a sudden flick of his wrist, he caught it and smirked at me.

The cocky little...

"No, not after what happened last time"  I replied sternly.

Forgetting about his ego for a few seconds, Jungkook frowned at me and crossed his arms.

"But last time was fun" he whined. He looked exactly like a kid throwing a tantrum.

"Just because something is fun doesn't mean that it is sensible" I argued, kicking his shin lightly.

"You asked for it"

Jungkook launched himself at me, grabbing my shoulders and pulling me towards him in the process. Prepared for the sudden attack, I swung my arm round and got him into a headlock, laughing down at him.

"Did I now?" I moved closer, trying not to let go of his squirming body. I suddenly became aware of his bare skin underneath my fingertips, cold and smooth.

"Let...me go" he tried to pull himself out of my grasp but I held on, not willing to let him win the fight.

A numbing pain shot across my leg causing me to fall backwards, releasing Jungkook. He twisted himself out from under my arm and perched on the edge of the bed.

I gave a pained laugh, "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't push you off this bed right now"

He lifted his eyes up to the ceiling in thought, "Because I kept you company last night" he decided.

"Correction" I flopped down onto my stomach, "You wanted my company"

Jungkook sighed and climbed his way back onto the bed, positioning himself next to me.

"You're all I have left" he sounded like he was finding it hard to get his words out.

Turning to face him, I looked into his eyes trying to judge whether he was playing around or not. But by the tone of his voice and the way he was looking back at me, It didn't seem like he was joking.

"What about the others?" I asked him.

Jungkook was loved by every member. We all cared about him. Sometimes more than we cared about ourselves. Yeah, me and him were close but I didn't think we were that close.

"They don't-" he paused for a few seconds,

"They don't understand me as well as you do"

"Not even Taehyung?" I was almost speechless, what made him think that I understood him better than anyone else? I just saw Jungkook for who he was. With no filters and no special effects. I saw him in the brightest light that wasn't even tinted by darkness. And if there ever was any, I would chase the darkness away.

"Taehyung is my best friend" he admitted, "but you are like something more"

My breath caught in my throat and my heart picked up its pace. If this was the moment he was going to tell me that actually, he had a thing for guys I wouldn't know what to do...

Reading the expression plastered on my face, Jungkook busted out laughing.

"I'm not gay" he continued to laugh at me.

My heart sunk slightly and I didn't know why. Maybe I was kind of hoping that Jungkook had some sort of weird, secret crush on me.

I joined in with the hysterical laughter, however I was mainly laughing at myself and my "out there" assumptions.

"No I know that" I shook my head and started to sit up, before Jungkook snatched my wrist and pulled me back down again.

"You look a little disappointed Jimin"

I mentally prepared myself for the teasing.

"I could make exceptions for you if you wanted me too. It isn't like I haven't done anything like that before..." his whole facial expression changed from playful to deadly serious. I wasn't quite sure how to react. Just like I wasn't sure why this room was starting to feel very, very hot.

"What are you two doing?" neither of us had noticed Namjoon walk into the room.

I jumped back, startled by his sudden appearance but somewhat grateful. He had definitely gotten me out of that one.

"I was-" I was lost for words.

"He was-" He was making me question his sexuality.

"We were-"

"We were wrestling" Jungkook finished for me. I saw him wink in the corner of my eye. Trying not to groan in frustration I backed him up with a quick,

"Yeah we were just wrestling. In my bed."

Namjoon gave me an odd look and began to back himself out of the room.

"Um okay, well breakfast is ready if either of you want it"

"Thanks" I mumbled, swinging my legs over the edge of the bed.

"Oh thanks Hyung I am starving, we will be there soon" Jungkook said a little too enthusiastically.

After Namjoon left I tried my best to turn the attention of the conversation somewhere else.

"It's a good job I have a double bed. You wouldn't be able to fit in it if it was a single one, there would be no room whatsoever"

I knew it was a failed attempt but I should at least get credit for trying.

"I'm sure you wouldn't mind that" Jungkook wiggled his way into a white shirt he found on the floor. My white shirt.

Ignoring his comment, I let out a nervous laugh.

"You are in here so much you might as well move in" I regretted what I'd said as soon as I said it.

He made his way over and stood directly in front of me. His eyes shone like the bright morning sun rising from behind the clouds outside.

He looked me up at down, taking a little extra time in certain areas.

"Is that an offer?" he asked, walking out of my room and swinging the door shut behind him.

I was left sitting alone on my bed wondering,

What the hell just happened?
