A Thousand Mistakes

Chapter Twenty one

It's been hours since we left the house. We found a park and collapsed on a bench, exhausted from running to much on such a short amount of energy. I asked someone to borrow their phone. When I look at the date i'm surprised on how long we were in hell. A whole 2 months. I called my mom and she answered confused. 

"Hello?"

"Hey mom it's me Emily"

"Emily, baby is that really you? I thought you were dead, where are you?"

"Um i don't know exactly" I say looking around the park. I see the parks name and tell her. My mom was going to pick us up soon. 

It was almost sunset before i see my moms car. As soon as she seen me she jumped out and grabbed me into a tight hug. 

"I missed you so much" She said through tears. 

"I missed you to mom" I say with a lump growing in my throat. 

When we got home i jumped in the shower and went downstairs to hear Annabeth telling my mom our terrible story. I sat on a bar stool and continued to dry my hair with a towel. Annabeth handed me a bowl of pasta and garlic bread. I thanked her and we started eating. 

It was a pretty good night and before i knew it i was in my old bed with Annabeth at my side. 

I woke up with the sun in my eyes. Rolling around I realized Annabeth wasn't at my side like she was last night. I got up and went downstairs. Something seemed strange. The house was quite. 

I went to the kitchen and no one was in there. As I searched the house i finally found them. Both of them, my mom and Annabeth. 

They laid both on the living room floor decapitated. Blood splattered the walls. I could feel the lump growing in my throat, my knees buckling. I fell to the floor and sat there for a minute trying to process what's happened. 

I heard a clicking sound behind me. As I go to turn around it's lights out.

So there you go guys. This is the end of the book and like it says. Every main character is dead so im not going to make a sequal for this book though I might make a new story with a different story line because this one kinda made me bored so I decided to end it.
