ENTRY 26

04.04.63.15.15

It was hard to tell if I woke up in the daytime or the middle of the night, so I'm just guessing what time it is that I am writing this.

I am amazed how my eyes have adjusted to the low light. It is just like I am walking around outside just after sunset, but then again, with two moons, the night here is almost like daytime, especially when the moons are full.

The steps of the temple were cold, very cold. I couldn't tell what they were made of, but I assume it was a kind of granite because of how smooth they were. Anyway, I woke up, had a little something to eat and started looking around the temple. It was amazingly beautiful. There were statutes along either side of the halls. In fact, there were hundreds of them. Some made of stone and others were made of metal. I swear I also saw one or two that I think were gold, but I couldn't be sure.

At last, I made it to the altar chamber. Inside was a large statue. It was nearly as tall as the room was wide and beneath it was a sentence carved into the rock. It said Tywyllwch -- bydded i dduw tangnefedd. I had no idea what that meant, but by the peaceful, loving, happy look on the statue's face, I have a feeling that I was looking into the face of an ancient Zartoon God... Maybe the same God we had on Earth, but then again, maybe not.

I was not sure what to do. The room was so full of artifacts. The sword could have been one of them, but it would take hours, maybe days or more to check everything out. There was one thing I found right next to "God's" left foot. It was a crystal that measured about two feet long. From what I could tell it was as clear as a piece of glass and there were no defects anywhere. I don't know why, but as soon as I touched it, a white glow started appearing in the center and, within minutes there was enough light to see all through the room as well as enough to light the many tunnels leading from it.

I spent the next few hours wandering the hallways. There were so many rooms, and so much to see, I could not believe that such a society could exist anywhere but in our world. Maybe our culture and everything we know, or knew, came from here, and we were just transplanted from here to Earth? That would be something! I will have to find a nice, comfortable corner, check out what I had found and think about everything before I take another step. I think I will do that and write more here later today.
