ENTRY 41

20.04.63.12.03

For the first time in a very long time, I was afraid to wake up next to Pandorica. I didn't want to, but I knew I had to tell her that we had to leave again. I remember that right after she woke up, I asked her why her people left their city for such a desolate place.

"I was told that a hot wind blew in from the desert. It was hotter than it had ever been, and all of the foodstuffs and water turned to dust, so unless they left, there would not have been a city to return to."

"Did you tell them that we passed through there and everything was fine?" I asked.

Pandorica said that she had told them that, and that they had immediately sent two scouts out to see if what she was saying was true. "My father told me that if they find the city environmentally safe, then they will return and settle the area again," she said with a smile. But her smile faded as I told her that our mission was not over yet.

"We have to go to Warrego Valles and purify the sword," I said. "I do not know where that is or how far it is, but I guess, Pandorica, we have to go." She said she knew where it was and it was a very, very long way away. As Pandorica was pregnant, this was a real worry, what in the hell, I thought, isn't there anything close by on this damn planet?

Pandorica of course went and said goodbye to everyone, explaining we would be back soon. Me, I just waved, and we started out.

Once again, there was no road and not even a path. It was nothing but sand, and sagebrush, but this time we were smart. I grabbed a bunch of the dehydrated foods that they had stored in a tent at the edge of the camp. I also managed to get a pretty good supply of water, so we would be able to eat and drink on the way.

Pandorica told me how beautiful the waterfall was that we were going to. "The water is so blue and cold, but my husband, the light from the sky makes it look this beautiful violet color. There are rocks on the side of the falls where you can dive. I love watching the Zartoon dive into the water. As they dive and swim, they are so graceful. It is almost like seeing music as a solid form. There are so many plants and flowers that it looked as if the gods painted the whole area."

"Then you have been there," I asked.

"Just in my dreams," Pandorica said. "In my dreams, I have been there a thousand times, and I loved every one of them."

It was so romantic sounding and still I was disappointed. I just wanted to get there as quickly as possible, partly to get the mission over and done with and partly to give Pandorica her dream.

I am going to end this because Pandorica looks like she needs me to love her. Leaving her family again must have been hard on her. I will record more later.
