ENTRY 56

I thought of something last night. I, at first, thought I would run it by the village elders, but then I thought, maybe not, talking to them might be a waste of time. The time that my Pandorica doesn't have.
I did mention what I was planning to Rhostly, and she thought that it was a good idea, not great but still a good idea. It meant that I had to leave the village. That was something I didn't want to do, but I didn't want to lose Pandorica either, and I had to do something, I loved her so much.
The first thing I did once I made up my mind was that Rhosly and I were going to see her mother. Once we got there, I argued so loud and fought like hell, until eventually the guard finally weakened, even so, he stubbornly kept on refusing, but finally, we talked him into letting us visit, and we walked into the room.
Pandorica was still lying on the bed where I had seen her the day before. She was hooked up to monitors, restraints and more than a dozen tubes and bags. I could see her eyes fluttering, and the corners of her mouth twitched ever so slightly, so she was still in there. Then I saw what I could only call a miracle...when I spoke to her, I saw the scales above her eyes move as if she was trying to respond to my voice.
"Rhosly," I said. "You stay here with your mother. I have someone I have to find. I don't know where she is, but I swear to you that I will find her, and I will come back to you, and I will bring your mother back." She didn't say a word as I leaned over and kissed Pandorica with all of the love I had in my heart. Then I kissed Rhosly and I walked out of the room and then out of the village.
No one tried to stop me and God help them if they had. I was on a mission to save my wife and not any man, Zartoon, human or anything else was going to stop me.
