Our Rhosly is doing so well, I have never seen a baby grow so fast. Still, that could be the Zartoon DNA from her mother kicking in. I mean she's only two days old, and she has already doubled in size, and God is she beautiful. She still has the beauty of Pandorica in her, but I can now also see more of me coming out in her with every passing hour. Wow, all that is happening is so incredible.
Today we caught some fish out of the river for breakfast, loaded everything and Pandorica and Rhosly into the boat and started out again on our journey. We were lucky. The air was cool enough for the baby to be comfortable and there was a gentle breeze coming from in front of us so we had good traveling for the next few miles.
The cliffs finally smoothed down to where we were looking out at the plains that seemed to go on forever and a day. In the distance, I could see tall flowering trees with large birds flying around them. The clouds were the strangest shade of violet I had ever seen. It was quite beautiful, and I just sat back and relaxed as we drifted along. Pandorica was too busy to see any of these things. Rhosly was hungry. and she was sure going to let everybody on Zartoon know about it. Our little girl was already mature enough to eat solid food, so Pandorica reached into the water and grabbed a fish that happened to be swimming close to the surface. It wasn't that big of a fish, so Rhosly ate it with no problem.
It was another few miles before we came upon an abandoned building on the shore ahead. "That is the Temple of the Sun," Pandorica said. "That religion died out so long ago. Not much is known about their customs and ways, except, for that symbol over there.." She pointed at an eighteen pointed star over the front door of the building. "They are famous for killing anyone who intruded into their world. So, Fa Nex I do suggest It would not be a good place for us to stop to rest!"
You know that was the one thing she should never have said. When people tell me NOT to go somewhere, that is when I go, so I pulled the boat to shore and beached it. Pandorica and Rhosly stayed in the boat, but I decided to see what I could see. The second my foot hit the ground, it changed into a liquid and formed around my shoe. It became hard and, once it began to heat up, I decided that it was time for this country boy to get his ass out of there. I grabbed a nearby rock and started chipping away at my prison. Finally, I must have hit it in just the right spot because it shattered into dust. I pulled my foot back, jumped into the boat and we were gone. I was okay except for the fact that my shoe was dirty, but that was no big deal.
We just kept drifting and playing with our child the rest of the day until we finally saw Warrego Valles in the distance. We wanted to go in in the morning, so we set up camp on the shore. Rhosly had grown so quickly she was now no longer a baby, she hopped out of the boat and surprisingly started running all around. It was fun, to watch her which we did until she became tired, and came running back to us, then the three of us cuddled together and soon fell asleep.
