ENTRY 61

11.05.63.02.53

During the time I had blacked out over my despair thinking I was losing my Pandorica, I had a vision that I have to keep to myself. If I told anyone, the Zartoon would lock me up as a lunatic. But I cannot just retain it in my head. I have to write it down so that, if it happens, there will be a record of what happened.

I saw Zartoon. It was about a hundred years from now. There was a major war between the Humans and the Zartoon. It went on for years and years, and the ground was covered with bodies and blood flowed, where the water had once filled the rivers. I am not sure, but I think that the only cities left were the ones I visited earlier. They had very few living there, that is, if you can call the walking dead living.

I saw Pandorica's great-great-great grandson. He was leading an army of about four hundred Zartoon and hybrids. Most of them were wounded, but not bad enough to stop them from defending their city.

The Humans also still lived in their Human city. I have no idea how many of them were left, but I had a strong feeling that their numbers were about the same as the Zartoon.

One thing I remember seeing and hearing were two Zartoon talking as they ate their afternoon meal. "My grandfather told me that all of this started when that Human from Yartook got back with the white sword. It was supposed to protect us, but the power of the sword was gone. He was selfish and used it to save his wife. Yes, it protected her alright, but the white sword was meant to free all the Zartoon, so by the time he handed it over to the Zartoon Council, the white sword had lost all its powers. So the Humans knowing that the sword had been so important to us, took that as a sign that Zartoon could be theirs, and they took advantage of it, and the blood soon flowed."

I waited to hear the rest, but as soon as he finished that sentence, a missile came flying above the city. There was a big flash of light, the hottest heat I had ever felt and a wind that destroyed everything it hit. After everything was done, there was nothing... no buildings, not even bodies, no semblance of life anywhere, nothing!

Those bastards Humans brought it with them, I thought. They destroyed Earth, and now they are doing the same thing to Zartoon. I could feel myself starting to shake. I do not know if it was anger or sadness, but I was distraught.

In my vision I did not see the Human city, but, if it survived the winds, I am sure that the radiation would have killed every damn one of them. It would have taken longer, maybe years, but they were going to die eventually, and knowing they had destroyed the gentle Zarton that pleased me no end.

I sadly have a feeling that my vision was accurate. I, unfortunately, now do once again remember how we humans were on the Earth. We fought and killed over money, land, and sheer power, hell, we even fought over how to fight. And now having had this vision, I can foresee it is going to happen here all over again... but this time I can do something, I can stop it! I just can't tell anyone why I am going to do, and what I have to do.
