Ch. 9

-MEGANS P.O.V-

We had just finished out Taco Bell and were now just sitting watching the sunset.

I saw Andrea sitting all cuddled up and decided not bother them. Leah and Trevor were talking and laughing, Ricky and Jc were vlogging while Connor was taking sunset photos. Typical.

But where was Sam? Not that I cared. He had already crushed me.. He was sitting off to the side looking out at the trees.

I wanted to enjoy this sunset I'm not going to apologize. Besides what do I have to apologize for?

I walked over and sat next to Connor. "Hey Con." I said sitting down.

"Hey Meg!" He said surprised. "Beautiful sunset isn't it?"

"It's perfect.." I said and lied my head on his shoulder.

I know he's three years older than me but its not weird. At least to me. He wrapped an arm around my shoulder. I took out my phone to capture this moment. It felt so right. It felt like someone cared for once. I put my phone up.

"Smile!" I said. I smiled but Connor, instead of smiling, kissed my cheek. I snapped the photo.

I put my phone down and blushed.

"Time to go! It's 6 and the party starts at 7!" Sam said.

"Ugh.." I said. Connor took back his arm and got up.

"Hey we still have the whole car ride to cuddle." He winked and walked away. I blushed. Am I falling for Connor?

-SAMS P.O.V-

After we ate I got up and walked over to the side of the mountain. I sat on a rock and looked at the trees. I thought about Megan and how much

I like her. Kian doesn't want me to date her because I'm a "player". But I really like her. I need to step up my game..

'If you don't treat her right someone else will.' Connors words kept repeating in my head.

Would he really steal Meg from me? Nervously I ran my fingers through my hair. I looked back at the trees just thinking. My phone interrupted my thoughts.

'New Text Message: Jarred: Party starts at 7! Get your ass over here and help me set up!' I widened my eyes.

I totally forgot about the party! I jumped up and walked over to everyone. I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw Connor and Megan all close. They were laughing, taking photos and cuddling. Not on my watch. Thats my girl!

"Time to go! It's 6 and party starts at 7!" I yelled making them jump.

Megan groaned and got up. I heard Connor say something to her but I couldn't make out the words. He winked and walked my way.

"Hey. I thought we agreed Megan was mine?" I asked but kinda stated.

"I told you that she was going to fall into someone else's hands. You had your chance." He said.

"But she doesn't like me!" I shouted catching everyones attention. I looked over at Megan. She was glaring at me and started to walk over.

"I wonder why." Connor said.

"Come on Con. He's not worth it." Megan said and grabbed his hand.

"Jc!" I called.

"Yeah?" He said walking up to me.

"Wanna switch cars?" I suggested.

"I guess." He said. "Oh and dude relax. Meg will fall into your arms soon enough."

"Thanks." I said and walked to Ricky's car.

-MEGANS P.O.V-

Once I grabbed Connors hand I walked him to the car. We got in the back and automatically got comfortable.

Connor pulled me onto his lap and interlocked our hands. I lied my head in the crook of his neck.

"So are you guys a thing now or?" Ricky said as he shut his door.

"Kinda." I said closing my eyes.

"Yeah I guess you can say that." Connor said playing with my fingers.

I heard the door open and was guessing it was Jc.

"Hey guys!" A familiar voice said. My eyes shot open.

"Hey Sammers!" Ricky said.

I rolled my eyes. He so planned this. As we were driving home Connor started drawing shapes on my thigh.     I giggled and Sam looked back at us. Now he rolled his eyes. What was his problem? One second he is a dick then he's trying to win me over?

We finally arrived home and I ran upstairs to change for the party. I got into some white short shorts and stayed in my black crop top from earlier. I let down my hair and I curled it into big curls. I applied pink lipstick and approved myself in the mirror. I changed into black flip flops and ran back downstairs.

Leah was in black short short and a really showy neon tang top. She had on black flip flops also.

Her hair was just down straight. Andrea just stayed the same and all the boys changed into more comfortable shirts/tang tops.

I can't wait for this party. Me and Connor interlocked hands and walked out the door to Jarred's.
