Ch. 22 The Date

-SAMS P.O.V-

I walked over to Jc and sat at the table. Kian came over and sat with us. "So where are you taking her?" Jc asked. "I was thinking about to the park for a picnic." I responded. "Okay. What are you gunna do?" Kian asked. "I'm gunna have lunch with her and then hang out." I said. Jc nodded. "Just don't break her heart again." Kian reminded me. "I won't bro. I really like her." I said. "I know. She's crazy about you too." Jc said. I smiled and got up. "Bring her back before dinner. We are all going to go out." Kian said. "Alright." I said. We bro hugged and I walked back over to Megan. She looked beautiful. The way her hair blew behind her and the way her cute little dress swayed in the wind. Her little laugh was adorable too. I went up behind her and hugged her waist. "Ready beautiful?" I asked. She blushed and nodded. "Bye love birds!" Leah yelled. Megan flipped her off and kept walking. We walked out front to my car and I opened the door for her. She blushed again and thanked me. She sat down and I shut her door. I ran over to my side and got in. "So where we goin Sammers?" She asked. "It's a surprise." I said smirking. "Sam but I hate surprises!" She whined. "Just wait princess." I said and kept driving.

-MEGANS P.O.V-

Sam drove to a little park in our town and I smiled at him. "Your adorable." I said. "I know." He joked and got out. He came and opened my door. He put out his hand and I gladly grabbed it. I got out and shut the door. He grabbed a picnic basket and I grabbed a blanket from the trunk. We walked over to a grassed area and lied down the blanket. Sam prepared such an amazing lunch for us. Sandwiches, fruit, drinks, and chips. We ate our lunch and played around throwing grapes in each others mouth and laughing. We were enjoying being kids and thats what I loved. We were now lying on our backs looking at the sky. Sam had his arm around my waist and I had my head on his chest. "Thank you." I said and kissed his cheek. "Anything for you beautiful." He said. We sat up and Sam stood. "I'll be right back." He said. I nodded and stood up. Sam came running back with a yellow sunflower in his hand. I laughed and put my hand over my mouth. He got down on one knee and my heart stopped. He wasn't doing this. "Megan Rose Lawley, I love you. I've loved you sense the day we were in 6th grade and we got dared to dance together at the lame school dance. I love the way your eyes sparkle and light up when you get excited. I just, I fell head over heels for you. I know we have had some bad times but I want to focus on the future. So Megan, will you please be my girlfriend?" He begged. I was now in tears. "Did I say something?" He worried. "No, no! I oh my god I would love to!" I answered. "I shouldn't have asked I knew it, wait what?!" He asked. "Yes! I said yes! I want to be your girlfriend!" I yelled. He got up and I jumped into his arms. I hugged him tightly. "Thank you. Thank you so much." I whispered into his ear. "No thank you." He said and kissed my cheek.

Okay I'm trying to update but, well my grandmother died today and I'm probably not going to update soon. I have the wake and funeral this week so idk i will try though.
