Ch. 42

I woke up curled into a pile of blankets. I rubbed my eyes and checked my surroundings. I was lying on a couch in Kian and Andreas room. The night came flashing back and my heart clenched.

He's not worth it. I try to tell myself as I feel tears coming to my eyes.

Its actually over though. All those fight they were just the our picture slowly falling apart. I sniffled and lied down. Clutching the blankets to my chest I heard someone walk in.

"Hey Meggy." Andrea's sweet voice rung.

"Mm." I mumbled and rolled over to see her.

"How are you feeling."

"Shitty."

She laughed. "As expected. Listen Kian went to go see if he find Sam and check on him."

"I don't care."

"Megan we both know you are dying to know how he is."

"Can we have breakfast."

"Well I got told to bring you to Jc's room for a very special surprise."

"Ok. Will you come to my room so I can change?"

"Of course."

We interlocked arms and I walked down to my room with my hood on my head. We got to my room and she slid my key. We walked in to the room looking brand new. Either the housekeepers came or Sam had never stopped here. I walked over to my suitcase and grabbed black flowy shorts with roses on them and a black halter top and my leopard bikini.

"I'll be right back."

I walked into the bathroom and got changed wiping my makeup off and applying concealer, powder, winged eyeliner and a little nude gloss. I walked out and put my hair up real quick grabbing my cross-body and phone. I smiled at her and we exited my room walking down to Jc's room. We knocked and heard rumbling around. I looked at her questioningly and she shrugged.

"Close your eyes Meg." Jc said opening he door a crack.

"Ok.." I covered my eyes.

"Step right up." He joked.

I walked in slowly and got to what was the center of the room. They turned me and opened my eyes. My jaw dropped and I smiled wider than ever.

"LEAH OH MY GOD!"

There was my cute little blonde friend sitting on the middle on a bed with a party hat on and balloons surrounding her.

"Happy Birthday baby girl!!"

I jumped on the bed and squeezed her. All fun being ruined when I remembered.

"Do you know about uh me and-"

"Yeah I'm sorry love." She cut me off.

"I'm okay now that you're fucking here." I smiled. "Who planned this?"

"Um I think Andrea, Sam, Jc and Kian."

I looked at Andrea and opened my arms for a hug. She walked over and I group hugged her and Leah. Then of course everyone jumped on us. I looked around at us.

Trevor, Connor, Ricky, Jc, Lia, Shelby, Andrea, Leah and I. They were all I needed. Well plus Keen da bean.

"Where's Kian?" I asked.

"I have no idea he left like thirty minutes ago."

Just then he came into the room dragging Sam behind him. My heart stopped at the sight of them. Sam with a bloody nose and Kian with a puffy lip.

"Oh my god." I whispered.

"Everyone but Jc, out." Kian said.

"Kian-" I started.

"Megan out."

"Your lip."

"Megan I know. Just go." He said sternly.

Andrea grabbed my hand and took me out of the room. Her, Leah and I walked down to get breakfast.

"They're fucking idiots." I mumbled.

"They're boys." Andrea said.

"I don't even care about Sam's fucking bloody nose."

"Megan." Leah said looking at me like 'really?'

"Ok maybe a little."

She rolled her eyes and we sat down and ate our food. We talked about what happened in L.A. while we were gone and Leah said she had something for my birthday. We then walked back upstairs where I asked Lia for her key. I unlocked her and Jc's room and walked into yet another fight. The guys were yelling and Kian was ready to punch Sam again. They looked my way and froze in place.

"Hey uh sorry I just wanted to thank you guys for getting Leah here. It means a lot. More than you guys know actually." I laughed. "You guys are always there for me so thank you for that too. Uh I-I love you guys and please try not to kill each other. I'm uh fine, I'll get over it Kian."

He looked at me as his eyes softened and Sam's eyes saddened. Kian let go of Sam and walked over to me engulfing me in a hug.

"I love you too baby sis."

We hugged for a while till I looked at the guys. "Now let's just enjoy our day. We have a show tomorrow." I reminded them. "Oh and uh Kian and Sam come with me. We need to get you guys cleaned up."

They followed me in Sam and I's room and into the bathroom. I wet a small towel and looked at the guys sitting on the tub edge and shook my head. I went to walk towards them and tipped and gasped. Sam's hands went to my waist and caught me. I stood up and looked at him then at Kian. I grabbed Kian's chin and leaned it up towards me. I dabbed his lip and he groaned.

"Calm down it won't hurt."

I dabbed lip again my flipped the towel. I saw Sam watching me out of the corner of my eye then look down at his feet. When Kian was done he got up and I patted his back.

"Now don't do this again. Both of you."

Kian nodded and walked out. Butterflies flooded my stomach looking at Sam. I took a deep breath and grabbed his jaw turned his head up to me. I wiped his upper lip of dry blood looking in his eyes the whole time. He looked at me and then I looked down at his nose and held it to stop the bleeding.

"Shit." He winced.

"Sorry." I mumbled.

"It's okay." He whispered bringing his hand up to mine.

I flinched and took my hand away. He mumbled 'sorry' and I took care of his nose. When I was done he stood up and I looked at him. "Just keep ice on it. For the swelling."

He nodded walking closer.

"A-And uh you're good."

He nodded again and put his hands to my waist. I froze and he looked into my eyes. His hands moved to my jaw and he leaned down. My heart pace quickened as he leaned closer. As he got close to my lips I turned and closed my eyes. He kissed my cheek and looked me in the eyes.

"I'm sorry." I whispered and raced out of the room towards the lobby.

Andrea saw my startled face and ran over. She grabbed my arm and pulled me out into the Hawaiian morning.

"What did he do?"

"He-he tried to kiss me." I stuttered. "I fell and he caught me and he kept looking at me. Andrea I'm not ready."

"I know I know dude."

"Can we just go to the beach?"

She nodded and we walked down joining everyone including Sam at the beach where I lied out and ignored everyone but my music.
