Ch. 25 Beach

-MEGANS P.O.V-

We arrived at the beach. I jumped out of the car and looked at everything through my sunglasses. I missed the beach. Andrea came up beside me and laughed. She grabbed my hand and started to run towards the middle of the beach. From what I heard there was a beach party. Starts at around 3 and goes all night. There was of course going to be a huge bonfire, smokers, alcohol, and a bunch and drunk people. We arrived at this party around 5 and saw a bunch of our friends. "Jarrad!" I screamed once I saw him. I'll admit I use to have a crush on him but now we're best friends. We hugged and then I felt a hand slip around my waist. "Hey babe." Sam said. "Hey!" I said and kissed him. "Megan?! Is that you?!" I heard a voice. "Brandon? Ally?" I asked astonished. There stood my best friends from middle school who I haven't talked to in forever. "Oh my god!" I hugged them and started to talk to them. I looked around and saw that the party was getting larger. I excused me and Sam from them and walked over to a bar. I was 18 and decided that it wasn't bad to have one drink. I asked for a drink and so did Sam. We weren't driving so I had allowed Sam to grab a drink. I took a sip of my drink and felt a jolt of energy hit me. It tasted of cherries and vodka. It was almost six and music started blaring. "Wooo!" I threw up my hand with my drink. I started to walk around and dance. I was having such a great time. I found Leah and started dancing with her. We were having a kick ass time. We were letting the music take over our bodies and totally making fools of ourselves. Someone walked by with a red solo cup and I gladly took it out of there hands and started to drink. These were my favorite type of summer parties. No cares in the world what so ever. Sam came up to me and started to dance too. He grabbed my hips and I started to grind on him to the fast beat song. Leah had found a boy, well the boy found her but she doesn't seem to care. "You look so good tonight." Sam whispered in my ear sending chills down my neck. I leaned my head back and brought his face down to mine. "But you look ever better." I breathed and kissed him. We started to dance more. Running around and hanging out with random people. I decided to walk over to the fire and sit down for a while. "This party great!" I slurred. "It's so rad!" Some girl next to me slurred. I started talking to her and figured out things I knew I would forget in the morning. Her name was Emily and she had brown eyes and light brown hair with streaks of teal in it. She is out here trying to find something to do with her life and is dated the kid next to her, Derek, and lives for these parties. We talked until 8 and then she wondered off. I found Leah on the dancing again and joined her. We were being totally drunk girls and started dancing around like maniacs. This was gunna be a night to remember.

It was now 1:30 in the morning and Ricky, Trevor, Connor and some girl who was all over Connor had left by now. So me, Jc, Sam, Kian, Andrea and Leah were left. Kian, and Andrea hadn't drank so they were designated drivers. Jc had two drinks but that's it. We were all around the fire talking amongst ourselves. A girl with curly brown hair sat next to me. "Hi, I'm Lindsay. Lindsay Demeola. I'm friends with the guys. They said we would really hit it off." She laughed. I laughed with her. "You and Sam are adorable by the way. He really likes you." She whispered to me. "I really like him too! I think we really have a future." I smiled. She laughed. Ally came over to me and looked at me. "Megs, We're leaving. I love you though! Text me!" She said holding hands with Brandon. "Wait, you guys are dating now? We've known each other forever! When did this happen!" I yelled. "Like a year ago." Brandon laughed and put his arm around her waist. "Awh! I'm really haply for you guys! And yes text me! I haven't changed my number!" I said and hugged them goodbye. I then turned back to Lindsay and talked to her for the rest of the night.
