~2 months later~
It's January 14th & it's freezing cold
Nate hasn't been home lately
He leaves home & stays out
I went through this with Derek..
I won't settle for it this time..
He wants to meet with at Lunch
He's out again..
I mean I get it..
He has a job now but it bothers me
how he has a new female assistant who's touchy & he stays out later than usual..
I throw on a warm sweater & denim warm jeans with boots
I brush my hair out & do a messy braid & put a beanie on
I stop by Starbucks for some coffee
I get to the restaurant
I sit down & Nate looks at me smiling
I roll my eyes
"What's the eye roll for?" He asks sternly
"I can roll my eye it's my damn eye" I say anger in my tone of voice
"You upset with me?" He asks
I stay quiet
"What have I done?"
"Your always gone!" I yell
"Your always gone! Why?" I say
He shakes his head
"What the hell do you expect from me Bri? I have a job unlike you!" He says referring to me quitting my job recently
The boss got rude & the pay wasn't good enough..
"You look awful Nate..did you have sex with that slut earlier?"
He shakes his head again
"You think I'm like Derek don't you?" He asks laughing a bit
I slap him
"Yes. Derek acted the same way..."
I says standing up
"If you wanna walk away...go..then..you won't find someone better..remember no one is good out in the real world..I'm sorry I may have made you feel insecure of yourself..I fired her a while back..she tried to flirt with me..I didn't like it..I'm sorry I treat you so bad Bri..I really try..I've been working later hours due to having no assistant now!" He says frowning
I freeze
He grabs me & we go to the car
He's driving & I decide to clear the air
"Nate..I'm sorry okay? It's just your handsome & Rich..loads of girls will love that..I'm none of those things..I'm not beautiful nor am I rich..I worked minimum wage jobs since I was 16 I never truly have been rich unlike you Nate..I'm sorry I'm such a selfish girl..I'm sorry I didn't seem to care. He pulls over the car
He holds my hands
"Babe..don't you see? I kiss him cutting him off
He kisses me back & reclines his seat back
We climb into the backseat
"You sure you wanna do this?" He asks
"Are these windows tinted?" I ask
He nods
"Good." I say slipping off my sweather
He turns on the heat since it's freezing in here
He takes off his shirt & kisses me

We fix ourselves up
"I like how we make up" I say smirking playing with his curls
He smirks & winks
"I like we make up too" & pecks my lips
We drive back home & I seem to forget we even fought..
It's best to make up after fighting with someone you love
Depending on what your fighting about..
He carries me up the stairs & we cuddle in bed together
