"I love you too, just as much" she said and laughed to her stubbornes not to stay down. Regina leaned to softly kiss Emma's bruised lips. "When you get out of here, I don't want you to do anything that might hurt you"
Emma rolled her eyes after very lightly kissing her back and slowly layed back down with a small whimper "like what, moving?"
"Yes, bed rest for you."she said looking at Emma
Emma groaned. She hated not being able to get up and do things. Yes right now breathing hurt like he'll but she still hated the idea
"You should maybe go to Charming's until you get better. You can't be alone"
"Oh that will be fun" Emma said sarcastically
"Got some familytime" she teased "but she was really worried of you"
"Well she is my mother"
"Well I was worried too"
"I know. I'm sorry"
"Well you weren't the one who fucked up your face"
"I started it. Went over and threw him to the ground and just started punching him"
"Well you really were pissed off"
"Very. I still am"
"But now you can't do anything stupid"
"For now..." Emma mumbled and rolled her eyes
"Just an optimist" she laughed
Emma hit her lightly and stuck her tongue out at her
Regina laughed and flicked her tongue with her finger
Emma put it back in her mouth "I really missed you"
"I missed you too" she said with a soft smile
Emma felt a bit more pain shoot through her body and squeezed Reginas hand. She wished she could just hug Regina and never let go but that would hurt too
"Everythin okay?" she asked feeling the tensing
"Just hurts" emma said taking a breath
She nodded, she hated to see Emma so hurt
Emma moved over a bit "could you lay with me for a while?" She asked Regina quietly
"of course" she said and lifted her legs on the bed
Emma put her arm around Reginas waist and gave her a small kiss
regina Smiled to her. "Do you have anything on your hips?" she asked she wanted to hold her
"They're not too bad. The pain meds work on them more" she took Reginas hand placing it on her hip
Regina smiled and snuggled closer to Emma but was careful.
Emma cuddled up to her as close as she could. She wished Regina could just hold her in her protective arms but knew that would hurt too
Regina kissed her softly. She wanted just to pull her close hand hold her like there was no one else
Emma kissed her back softly not to hurt herself. She closed her eyes and very gently rested her forehead against Regina's
Regina stayed there making sure not to move and hurt her but still provide comfort, and be relaxed
Emma felt better with Regina beside her. She felt more calm, almost made her worries disapear.
Regina rested her eyes for a moment she was still so tired
Emma fell into a light sleep. She was tired and still exhausted from everything
Regina layed there and just felt when Emma fell asleep taking all from the calm situation
Emma kept close to Regina holding onto her
Regina didn't want to wake up Emma so she was going to wait till she woke up or until a nurse would make her to walk out
Emma slept only a bit longer. She opened her eyes and gave Regina a soft kiss
"Did small sleep do good" she smiled her thumb brushing bit Emma's hips
"A bit" Emma put her fingers through Reginas hair "you look so tired" she said quietly
"Yeasterday was tireying" she answered and trying to smile and not to let it show so clearly
"Promise you'll try to get a good sleep tonight?" Emma pecked her lips "I know you didn't sleep much the two nights before yesterday"
"I'll try, but I won't promise. I tried last night but well it went more to blacking out than sleeping"
Emma nodded slightly running her fingers through Reginas soft hair again
Regina turned to kiss her wrist softly.
Emma smiled lightly looking at Regina
"I love you" she wispered gently
"I love you too" Emma whispered back
Regina pecked her lips softly
Emma softly smiled "I'm going to miss you again tonight. You're a good distraction" she said quietly
"So are you. Sorry I can't stay"
"Think you could come stay with me a night when I get out of here?" She pecked her lips
