"I missed you too. A lot" Emma let go and sat down
Regina sat down and Ruby already came to ask what they want to drink. Regina had already desided what she wanted to est so she made her order
Emma desided to just get a burger and a glass of water. She wasn't really hungry but knew she should eat it

Regina of course went with a small salad. "So how has your day started?"
"It's been ok. How about yours?"
"Nothing spesical." she smiled and looked at her. "I left Henry a note that we would like to meet Violet. I forgoy to ask yeasterday"
"Good." Emma sipped on her water
"I can already sens it'll be awkward luch or dinner, if we deside to eat then"
"It probably will be. Small talk is always fun"
"Whst could we ask them, of course we need to make it bit embarassing." she laughed
Emma smiled "Yep, I'm sure Henry will just love us after that"
"Of course he will. It's our duty as parents"
"I'm glad we gt to do that together"
"Me too" she said and took Emma's hand
Emma brought their hands up so she could kiss reginas

Regins smiled to her. Emma's food arrived, but Regina's didn't yet. When Ruby turned away and left them Regina rolled her eyes.
Emma laughed a little bit
Emma's laugh kept her smiling, and not to think what everyone was still thinking
Emma smiled and glanced around quickly and without realizing lightly squeezed Reginas hand
Regina smoothed the back of her hand with her thumb, looking at Emma, wanting to know everything was okay

Emma looked back at Regina trying to get back in a good mindset
Now Regina kissed her hand.
Emma put a smile on her face hiding how she was feeling
"I'll quickly go to the bathroom, and maybe I get my food then" she smiled and got up and went to the bathroom, feeling how eyes were following her
Emma watched her go and put her head on on her arms that were crossed on the table
Ruby brought Regina's salad on meanwhile, "Emma is everything alright?"

Emma lifted her head and gave her a smile "I'm just a little tired"
"Are you sure? You can tell me"
"I'm fine Ruby. Thanks"
"You should be careful with Regina..."
"Why? We are doing fine"
"Really? I heard a rumor what she did, someone saw your injuries and well, it had gone on and on here"
Emma tensed up. She was already feeling insecure about her scars today and her head wasn't in a good place "she didn't mean to hurt me... it was an accident" Emma told her quietly
"You can never kniw what the Queen really wants" Ruby had gone to be against her as soon as she heard about it

"I know Regina. And I know she never ment to do that."
"Really? But she ment to hurt half of the kingdom then, and she did"
"You know she's changed"
"It's true she seems like it, but I still can't trust her, after now that she has chanced she had still done evil things. And I heard she has spent her last weeks in her vault, someone had saw her. "
"So what if she been in her vault. She has some important stuff there"
"Mostly dark magic, I've never saw her go there and then much good come from it"
"She's just been staying there Ruby. She's back at her place now. She's not conjuring up any evil"
"I still wouldn't trust her. If I hear she does something, she can say hello so my fangs"

Emma slightly glared at her then back to the table
Ruby left just before Regina walked back, she looked at Emma. "Emma dear, what's wrong?" She put a hand on her shoulder
"Nothing I'm fine" she looked up at her a smiled
"Remeber you can always tell me when you want" she said and kissed her forehead before she sat down
Emma nodded and kept her smile
Regina started eating her salad, and watched Emma. She was worried
Emma had a few bites of her burger but couldn't eat the rest. Emma looked at Regina and sipped on her water

Regina didn't eat all of her salad and left it there. She saw something was wrong, but knew the answer if she asked now. "I'll pay, so we can go" she said and got up and went to pay
Emma got up and waited by the door. She wanted to get out. It felt so crowded and she was having a hard time keeping her breath steady
