Regina took a deep breath. "That too, and how our life is always so caotic and what might happen.." she explaned
Emma slightly squeezed her hand "we'll get through it. We always do" she sighed "again, and again"
"I know, I just don't something to happend again" she said and kissed Emma's hand
"Well everything seems to be calming a little bit now."
Regina gave her a small nod. Yes and as it is calming down, she needs to see Hook, without Emma. She toughts
Emma rested her head on her shoulder. She missed having Regina right beside her
Regina wrapped her arms around Emma's waist. She just wanted to curl up with Emma
"I couldn't sleep last night" emma said quietly
"Why not?" she asked, she just wanted Emma to be as comftable as possible
"Just couldn't get comfortable I guess." Emma shrugged. She didn't have any drugs knocking her out and didn't have Regina beside her making her feel safe
"Do you want me to stay tonight" she knew Emma always said that she slept better with her
"Only if you sleep. I know you still don't think it's 'safe' "
She closed her eyes. "I can try, please you need the reat more than I do" she said looking into her eyes. "I want to hold you till you fell asleep at least, if I feel too insecure I leave, okay?"
Emma nodded a bit and sighed. She really missed Reginas arms around her. She felt like she could be held better than the few days before and get closer
Regina got up to lay on the other side of the bed. She put her hand Emma's hip where she knew she wouldn't hurt her. She let Emma deside how close she could get and where she might put her hands and not to hurt her
Emma layed beside her pulling herself in close "you can put your arm around me more. Just be get let while letting it rest at first" emma said quietly moving her head in close to her chest
Regina kissed Emma's head and moved her arm slowly around Emma, resting it there but protecting her like she wanted to.
Emma put her arm around Regina and closed her eyes and let out a deep more relaxed breath. She had missed this so much
Regina's body relaxed, she had missed this so much, she didn't know anything as comftable than to hold Emma or to be hold by her, it was like being in their own bubble
Emma pecked her lips and softly said "I love you" and pulled a blanket over them before putting her arm back around her
"I love you too, and nothing can chance that" she said softly and gave her a soft kiss
"I'm really sorry for almost leaving..." Emma said quietly fighting back a few tears. She still couldn't believe she even thought of such thing.
"I don't want you to apologizing anymore, because you tought of it but you didn't do so" she said and kissed her cheek, careful not to hurt her bruised skin.
Emma hugged her tight but let the grip go a bit when it hurt. Regina made her feel a bit more relaxed.
Regina hold her and kissed her head. "Now try to sleep, because I forgive you everything that happened tbhen"
Emma kissed her jaw and layed her head back down closing her eyes again, melting into Reginas arms as she slowly drifted off to sleep
Regina didn't let herself fall asleep in few hours but then she was too tires and couldn't help but fall asleep. She woke up after some time, from having a nightmare. She was wrapped in Emma's arms. She shimmied out of them trying not to wake her. She walked out of the room taking sometime downstairs trying to calm herself down
Emma stayed asleep because of how tired she was otherwise would have woken up. It was dark and quiet downstairs since everyone was asleep
Regina took some water trying to be quiet and not to wake anyone. She was still panting heavily. few tears had ran down her cheek, she just tried to calm herrself
Neal suddenly woke up and Snow got up for him. She picked him up and came put to the kitchen to get some water for herself as she calmed him "Regina? " she whispered as she saw her there upset when she turned the light on "are you alright?"
