Amber POV

I sat on my bed and stared at the four suitcases that are resting on the wall behind my bed. Am I really starting a new life and moving to a different country with my best friend? Why? Oh yeah, Kate insisted she'd pay for the plane ride and wouldn't leave me alone till I agreed. My mother also wants to use my room as a 'Baking Room' so she doesn't clutter up the kitchen, typical.

Allow me to fully introduce myself. My name is Amber Nightingale and I currently live in England.

My alarm clock went off, 6:15. I pressed the dismiss button and jumped in the shower. Afterwards I dried myself, dried my hair e.t.c. You get the routine. An hour later, my mum, Charlie, woke up to take my little brother to nursery. She noticed me sat at the kitchen counter as I drank my coffee.

"Aren't you supposed to be at the airport darling?" She asked. I sighed at her comment and put the empty mug in the dishwasher.

"Eager to get rid of me and build your baking room, I see." I replied and grabbed my keys off the counter.

"I didn't mean it like that honey," She replied. I laughed to myself and went to hug her. She dropped her notepad onto the table and hugged me back.

"I know," I muttered into her shoulder. "I'll miss you," I could feel her smile in my neck.

"I'll miss you too, don't forget to fill our mail box with all your corny post cards and call us once in a while." She said and then pulled away, kissing my cheek. I looked at her one last time. I could see her trying to blink back her tears. She looked similair to me. The same blonde hair. Same blue eyes. I was starting to rethink leaving her.

She opened the door and grabbed two of my suitcases. I unlocked my car door and she placed them carefully in the car boot. Shortly after, I placed the other two in the car boot and put my hand luggage on the passenger seat.

"Good luck." She said. I smiled at her and drove off, trying to hold my tears in.

I got to the airport at 7.30 am. An hour before my flight was due. I checked myself in, went through security e.t.c. I then decided to kill time by shopping. By 8.30, I was finally on the plane.

"Where are you going to?" The guy next to me asked. I pulled my earphone out so I didn't seem rude, and face him. He had blondish, brownish hair and big blue eyes. He was probably around early twenties or so. I didn't think about what I was about to say so I just blurted out:

"Greece." He laughed and shook his head. Obviously I'm going to Greece otherwise I'd be on the wrong plane.

"I know that," He replied. "I meant which part?" He smiled a gorgous smile that seemed oddly familiar.

"The island of Rhodes." I told him. Yeah we were landing in Athens, I had to take a cab and a ferry to fet there. But it was worth it. Hopefully. His eyes widened, as if in shock. I raised one brow in confusion. He looked down and laughed.

"Weird coincedence, me too. How long are you staying for? I mean, I live there, I was here to visit family." He babbled. I smiled.

"I'm moving in with my friend who moved there last year." I replied. He smiled again. The same charming smile as before. It still seemed really familiar.

"Cool, ooh yeah I forgot. I'm Andrew." He added then held his hand out for me to shake. Naturally, I shook it.

"I'm Amber." I mentiones. His eyes widened again. He let go of my hand and placed it back on the arm rest.
