Amber POV
"Amber.." Kate said. I turned towards her whilst she was helping me unpack all of my personal possesions. "Are you going on a date with Andrew later?" She asked, holding the piece of paper I thought I had stuffed in my lingerie drawer.
"No," I slyly answered. "I don't want to, he doesn't like me." She sighed and put the note back in my lingerie drawer, practically reading my mind.
"Maybe he asked you to this museum to get to know you," she suggested. I didn't think I want to get to know him, he was an arrogant prick. He was nice to me one minute and the next he was talking to me like I was a disobediant dog. I shook my head and she sighed again, this time the sigh was longer and louder. "Fine, we need to start decorating the batch of cupcakes I made since we've finished this." She demand. I nodded and followed her into the cupcake shop that was attached to the side of her kitchen.
She showed me the design she wanted me to ice onto the batch of cupcakes and theb she showed me how to make the icing butterflies.
"I have to go bake some more cupcakes, so can you keep doing this batch? Do them all different colours and some the same, okay?" She ordered. I smiled obediantly and went to colouring the icing.
Before I knew it, it was 4 pm. Icing cupcakes was sure time consuming. I had done two batches of butterfly cupcakes, all a range of colours. Whilst I placed the tray of finished cupcakes on the display case, I heard a bell. Someone had walked into the shop.
"Sorry, we're closed." I said, not turning to look at him. The person completely ignored me. I put the tray of finished cupcakes on the shelf and go to the till. "I said, we're-" He cut me off. He took obe of the cupcakes off the shelf and walked towards me, breaking the distance between us.
"I heard what you said, cupcake, I've just chosen to ignore you." He announced in a deep voice. I gulped in fear and he threw the cupcake wrapper into the bin.
"Who are you and why are you here?" I asked. He smirked after taking a bite of his cupcake.
"I'm Josh, Joshua Hampele. I'm looking for Kate, we have some buisness to attend to." He explained. I gulped again.
"What type of buisness?" I asked hesitantly. His face enters the light and I could make out a perfectly chizzled jaw, a pair of forest green eyes and the short brown hair. He smirked again.
"That's for Kate to know, not you." He said cockily. He smiled and made his way through the back of the shop and into the kitchen. I followed him there.
"Kate?" He shouted. I heard Kate close the oven and she coughed. She made her way from the kitchen and into the dining room.
"Josh! Yis ras! Amber, this is my cousin, Josh. He's moving in next door and I invited him to have dinner with us tonight. Told him to come early. Josh this is Amber, my new house mate and employee." She explained, again cheerfully. We smiled at each other and shook eachother's hands. "Amber, could you give him a tour of the house. He's gonna be an employee too." She asked, I nodded and proceeded show him around the house.

"So, that's everything. If there's anything else you need I'll be in my room." I said then turned around and began to walk upstairs. He grabbed my hand.
"You forgot to show me the bedrooms." He said then winked at me. I gasped quietly. He noticed and glared at me. He was quite intimidating.
"Well, uhm, right, okay." I muttered. I tried to restist at first but his glare was starting to create a hole in my head. He smiled gratefully and followed me upstairs.
Josh's POV
"So, cupcake," I said, walking towards her. She took a step back. I walked towards her again. She had left the door wide open, so I didn't do anything bad. She was clearly quite intimidated by me. I took another step forward. She stood still. I could see the worry in her eyes and quite frankly, I didn't care.
"Josh, uhm," She murmered. I found it funny how nervous she was. "Maybe, we uhm, should get to know eachother." She said, sitting on the edge of her bed. I sighed in defeat and sat next to her. I was only playing around.
"So, what would you like to know?" I asked. She looked down at her knees nervousy. She muttered 'Uhm' a few times and I sighed.
"Coffee?" I asked. She looked up at me, clearly puzzled. Oh this was great. Easily scared and stupid? Score. "Do you like coffee?" I asked She nodded quickly. I smiled at her then turned towards her. It's a good job she was pretty, otherwise I would be gone by now. She had shoulder length blonde hair that was up in a side, fish tail plait. "How about I take you out for a coffee later then?" I suggested. She raised one eyebrow then quickly looked down.
"You've only just moved here, how do you know where the nearest coffee place is?" She asked. I chuckled. How could someone this pretty ask something that stupid?
"I used to live around the corner, Amber. I do know where they sell good coffee." I replied. Her mouth forms an O shape. "So?" I nudged her shoulder. She nudged me back. I pushed her again and to my surprise, she fell off the bed and onto the wooden floor. She glared at me. I rushed down to her and lift her head up. "I'm so sorry, are you okay?" I ask. She smiled and nodded. When would she actually say something?
Amber's POV
I was so glad I ditched Andrew. It sounded mean, but I was. I mean, I would have chosen Josh's silly remarks over a boring museum any day. He sat there, gazing at me. It made me a tad uncomfortable. I looked towards his shoulder to avoid eye contact and saw a small tattoo of what I pressumed was a rose or something. How did I not notice this earlier? It definitely increased his hotness by atleast fifty percent.
"So, uhm," I state awkwardly. His eyes widened and quickly I turned away, looking towards the open door. He pushed my cheek so that I was forced to look at him.
"Yes, cupcake?" He asked. I wished he didn't call me that. I glared at him, not realising I am doing so
"Could you stop calling me that? I don't like it." I asked, knowing fully well I sounded more confident that time.
"Oh you don't like it?" He asked in a sarcastic tone. I nodded in reply. He smirked at me again. "It stays, cupcake." He said. I almost melted at the fact that he practically just quoted from my favourite book series, 'Hush, Hush.' except he'd exchanged 'Angel' to 'Cupcake'. Ugh. I groaned. I nevet wanted to be called cupcake. It made me sound like such a child.
"So, cupcake, how do you like it here in Greece?" He asked. I furrowed my brows, he raised his.
"What? I've only lived here for 3 days. I've only been to the shop and in this house." I said, sharply. He smiled.
"Want a tour of the island? I can take you for that coffee?" He asks. Why did he sound that charming when I knew he was nothing but trouble?
"How good is the coffee?" I asked, intreged. He smiled and finally pulled me up from the floor, finally.
"It's the best in town, my best mate Andrew works there and makes the best mochas ever." He explained. I gasped. Andrew would be there and would probably confront me about turning him down again.
Hang on.. Didn't he say he was a history teacher? I shrugged. It was probably just a dream. "Okay, let me get changed out of these clothes, they're literally covered in icing sugar." I said. He chuckled and sat at the end of my bed. I walked towards the wardrobe and pull out a daisy skater dress.
"Do you mind?" I asked. He smirked and then stood up.
"That would look perfect on you." He said smoothly then he put a stray strand on hair behind my ear. I rolled my eyes.
"I need to get changed." I snapped and signaled him to the door. He laughed.
"I don't mind." I glared at his pervy remark and pushed him out of the door, then slammed l the door behind him. "Okay! Okay!" I heard him shout defensively. I smiled at my accomplishmet and got changed into my daisy frock.
"Wait, how about we go tomorrow instead?" He asked through a crack in the door.
"Fine!" I shouted.
