Andrew POV :
I looked everywhere. I checked everywhere in the hotel. Amber was no where to be seen. I even asked the hotel where Robbo's room was but they refused to tell me. Me and Hudson were currently in the lobby waiting to see if she turned up. To tell us that she was alright. That she just went to the shop across the road for something.
I called her phone a few times but it went straight to voice mail. I slammed my phone into my pocket and punched the wall. Not hard enough to cause damage to the wall, but hard enough to release my anger. Where are you Amber?
After 10 minutes of pacing forwards and backwards in the lobby, Hudson spoke up.
"Hey Andrew?" He asked. I stopped pacing and looked at him.
"What?" I snapped. He pointed to the reception desk behind me and I turned around. Robbo was standing right there, waiting for the lady at the front desk. Without thinking, I marched up to him and grabbed his collar with my fists. He looked at me in fear then smirked when he recognised me. That action caused me to slam him against the wall.
"Oh hi, Andrew." He said in a cocky tone, then smirked again. Bastard.
"Where's Amber?" I asked firmly. He chuckled arrogantly and I grit my teeth.
"I don't know mate, but calm down before steam comes out of your ears." He replied, again in a cocky tone. I pushed him back again so he hit the wall harder than before. The hissed in pain and then chuckled. Hudson came closer to us.
"Don't bullshit us, Robbo. I saw you leave with her. She was struggling to get out of your grip." Hudson stated. Robbo sighed loudly.
"She's in the alley behind the hotel. Now can you please let me go." He spat out. I scowled at him then let him go. I then started to run out of the hotel, trying to get to Amber as quickly as humane possible.
Me and Hudson ran around the side of the hotel to the alley way. "You check this bit, I'll run to the far end and check there." I ordered him, he nodded obediantly and started to look behind wheeley bins.
I sprinted to the end of the alley way and instantly found her. The blue dress she wore that sparkled in the moodlight wasn't that hard to spot. I ran up to her. Her eyes were closed and she was lying on her side. Her dress was torn at the end, revealing a huge flesh wound on her leg. I gasped at it. How could he do such a thing like that? I held her hand in mine and searched for a pulse. I found it within a minute of searching and thank god for that. She was just unconscious. Well, unconcious or dead, it still didn't make my anger and hate for Robbo die down. He hurt her. I scowled at the dried blood that stained her dress, ruining the beauty of it. The blood trickling from her forehead to the floor made me see red. When I next saw Robbo, if I ever saw him again, he'll be in more pain than she is. How dare he do this to her. Bastard.
"Hudson!" I yelled, he looked up and I gestured him to come over. He stared down at the severely injured Amber and gasped. "Well don't just stand there with your mouth open! Call an ambulance?!" I demanded. He nodded and took his phone out of his pocket, dialing 999. I cupped her cheek with my hand, her left cheek was clear from any blood and injuries. "Everything is going to be okay Amber, Robbo will get the karma he deserves. You'll be okay. I will find him and make him pay. Wake up Amber, please." I whispered to her, my voice breaking half way through the sentence. I sighed. She would be okay, right?

I sat on the chair next to the bed Amber was lying on, holding her hand. She had been unconscious for over 3 hours now. The doctors said her physical injuries were nothing more but a few cuts and bruises. But I know emotionally, there were more than that. I heard the door open and Hudson walked in carrying a bouqet of flowers. A sympathetic look was on his face. I raised my brows.
"She's still out?" He asked. I nodded in response. He grabbed a chair and sat next to me. "I know this isn't the time for this, but I'm sorry for being such a harsh older brother. I just couldn't bare the thought of you being more successful than me. I wanted our parents' praise. I know I can't apologise for 21 years of making your life terrible, but I mean it. I'm so sorry." He apolpgised, placing a hand on my shoulder. I smiled. That was one of the first times Hudson had ever said something nice and apologetic to me. What made me smile more was that he actually meant it too.
"Thanks Hudson. That means a lot." I replied. He smiled.
"I just came to drop these off, call me if you need anything." He placed the bouqet on my lap then got up to go back home. After a few minutes, I heard a cough and looked up at Amber. Her eyes were flickering open. Oh my god, finally!
Amber POV
I stared infront of me to see that apparently I was in a hospital bed. What am I doing here? Did I get drunk again?!
"He's been here for the 4 hours she's been unconscious. Refused to leave. I find it quite sweet actually. He's not left her side. Until now of course, as soon as he saw her eyes open he rushed to the vending machine to get her some food!" A nurse or doctor explained to another nurse or doctor. I furrowed my brows. Who were they talking about? I coughed loudly to get their attention and sat myself up. A sharp pain jolted up my leg and I hissed.
"Ah Miss Nightingale. Are you okay?" The man and woman rushed to my sides and then jotted something down on their clip boards.
"Yeah, I did have slight pain in my left leg though. It's gone now." I replied. They smiled sweetly.
"Are you aware of what happened earlier tonight and why you are in hospital?" The male doctor asked in a sympathic tone. I raised my eyebrows.
"No, I can't remember. Why? What happened?" I asked. They looked down at their clipboard.
"We don't know for sure there were no witnesses. But your partner, Andrew Meyers, suspects a man called Robert Walker abused you. Do you recall this happening?" Robert Walker? Who? The name didn't ring a bell. I shook my head.
"Okay, what was the last thing you remember?" They female asks me. I sighed in thought. What was the last thing I remember? I remember there was a blonde guy. He kissed me. Then we walked into a ballroom. That was it. I shook my head.
"Nothing. I can only remember a 5 second moment with a blonde guy. I can't remember his name though." and before they could answer me, the same blonde guy walks in holding 2 sandwiches. He looked at me and smiled sweetly. I pulled a confused face. Who was he? The doctors pulled him to the side.
"She's suffereing early signs of memory loss. The only thing she can remember is a 5 second moment with a blonde guy. We suspect that might be you." I saw the blonde guy's his eyes widen. He rushed over to me after a few seconds of registerkng what the doctor had said.
"Amber? Amber! It's me Andrew. Please say you remember more of me than 5 seconds with me! I'm your boyfriend. We had a rough start but in the end we managed to sort our issues. Please say you remember. Please!" He rambled on in a panicky tone. His eyes welled with tears and he tried to blink them back. Boyfriend? What? I smiled nervously.
"I remember you kissing me before we walked into some sort of ballroom. But that's it. I've not completely forgotten you. But I'm sorry." And I nodded sympathetically. He frowned.
"I need to go sort some things." He muttered and walked out of the room. I felt so stupid. How could I forget my own boyfriend? Hell! I had forgotten my whole life! Who was I? I don't know. But all I knew was my name is Amber Nightingale. And I apparently have a boyfriend called Andrew.
