Amber POV :
"So, you've made up your mind then?" Andrew asks. I nod and smile.
"Yes, I would love to live with you. Kate and Miguel think it's a great idea. Also, it means I don't have to listen to them, you know." I say. He laughs. "So I'll bring all my stuff tomorrow?" I ask. He nods and then quickly his eyes widen.
"Oh no. You know my brother Hudson?" He starts. I nod. "Well him and his girlfriend asked last night if they could stay with me for a while. That means my guest room would be occupied."
"Well I'll just move in after they've left then, unless you've changed your mind about staying?" I reply. He shakes his head.
"Don't be silly Amber. You can sleep in my bed, I'll crash on the couch." He says.
"Andrew. It's your bed. I'll take the couch!" I object. I couldn't kick him out of his own bed. He looks at me seriously.
"How about we just share my bed? We can put a red line in between us if that's what you want? I mean, lets be honest, last time I slept on the couch I had a crooked back for a few days," I open my mouth to object again, but he stops me. "Please Amber. The whole point of me asking you to move in with me was so I could wake up to the sight of you next to me." I smile. That was a such a sweet thing he just said.
"Okay. So when should I bring my stuff? Tomorrow?" I ask, he nods. "Right well I better go pack!" I stand up and he grabs my wrist, stopping me. "What?" I ask. He pulls me down so I'm back on the sofa
"Hudson and Lucy are coming any minute. I want you to stay with me. I want Hudson to get to know you a little better." He says. I sigh.
"Fine. But you're gonna help me pack." I say. He nods and switches on the television.
a few hours later
Andrew was asleep due to the fact that an hour ago I put Neighbours on. He was snoring softly, it got quite irritating after a while. I turn the TV off and get up to go the the bathroom. I am stopped by a knock on the door. I walk back and stand infront of the door, debating whether or not I should answer it.
I open the door to a face I vaguely remember, Hudson, and a face I didn't know at all. I smile.
"Oh, hi Amber! Is Andrew here?" He asks. I nod and point to the couch. They both peer through the door way and sigh at the sight of him asleep on the sofa. "Did he get himself drunk and pass out again?" I laugh.
"Nope. He fell asleep watching my favourite TV show. Come in! I'll take your bags up to the guest room while you make an attempt to find somewhere to sit. I wouldn't recommend waking him up though," I say. They laugh and the girl walks over to the arm chair and sits on it. Hudson sits in the little space that was left next to Andrew.
"Amber, this is Lucy. My girlfriend. Lucy, this is Amber. Andrew's girlfriend." I walk over and shake her hand. She had long dirty-blonde hair that was curled at the ends. She had brown eyes and very minimalistic make up. I could see why Hudson liked her, she was pretty.
"Very lovely to meet you Lucy." I say. She smiles.
"You too Amber. Hudson told me all about the incident at the wedding. I'm so glad you've fully recovered!" She says, cheerfully. Her accent was nothing like Hudsons. Her's was a southern accent whereas his was a northern with a hint of scottish. I smiled.
"Thank you! Now I'll go take these bags to your room and then make you two a drink." I say, then carry the two suitcases up the stairs. Why did I volunteer myself to do this. I could've waited for Andrew to wake up. I sigh and place them in the guest room. I quickly jog back down stairs and go into the kitchen.
