Prologue

Six months had passed since Katy married the love of her life, Shawn Hunter and she couldn't be more amazed by her beautiful family. Maya was the happiest she's ever been and all their dreams were finally being realized.

The family adjusted to living together considerably well, it was like it had been that way for their entire lives and now Katy and Maya couldn't imagine life without seeing Shawn everyday and he felt the same about them.

However, things were about to change once again. Shawn, Katy, and Maya both knew from experience that sometimes life takes you by surprise, but it's not always bad. Sometimes those changes are brought into our lives to change us for the better.
