Chapter 1: Perfect Couple

(Sharraine's POV)

I'm Sharraine Sophia Madrigal. Third year high school student at Mandaian Exclusive School.

One of the popular at the campus. Ako kasi ang Captain ng Volleyball team ng school. But I'm not one of those bigheaded, socialite girls. Simpleng estudyante lang din ako.

I'm paired with the basketball team captain. Perfect couple nga daw. Kung sabagay, with a guy like him, sino ba naming ayaw mainlove araw-araw di'ba? And with almost 2 years of courtship, I know he's the one. <3

FIRST DAY will always be first day. Boring! The only thing that excites me is seeing the love of my life.

Speaking of him, Bakit kaya ang tagal niya? I've been waiting for hours. Sabi niya, malapit na siya. Hay. -.- Arkin talaga.

We went to the Bulletin Board and saw our sections. At dahil Fourth year na si Alkin, he walked to my room before heading to his. When I got inside. A minimal number of student are inside. Maybe 4 to 5? I sat where I think I'm comfortable with.

(Alkin's POV)

Rey Alkin Dela Victoria. Fourth year high school student.

Unang araw ngayon ng school year. Gusto kong agahan pumasok kasi paniguradong maaga dadating ang mahal ko.

Kaso habang nasa gitna ng biyahe, huminto ang sasakyan ko.

Obviously, hindi pa ako pwede magdrive kaya tinanong ko yung driver kung anong problema.

"Yung kotse kasi sa harap natin sir, biglang huminto."

Hindi ko alam kung anong pumasok sa kokote ko at bumaba ako para icheck.

"Manong, ano po bang problema?" - Tanong ko sa driver nung humintong kotse

"Naflatan kami eh." - Saktong pagkasagot ni Manong ay may lumabas na babae galing sa

kotse.

"Kuya. Okay na ba? Malelate na ako eh." - Nakasuot siya ng uniform ng school namin.

"No thanks. Magco-commute nalang ako." - Jusko. Siya na nga inaalok, siya pa may ganang magtaray. -.- Mga babae nga naman. Too unpredictable.

"Okay. Have it your way." - Pumasok na ako at nagpahatid na sa school.

At ano pa nga bang aasahan ko? Galit na ang girlfriend ko. Mukhang mali talagang nagsayang pa ako ng oras dun sa babaeng mukhang pinaglihi sa sama ng loob na yun.

(Sharraine's POV)

LUNCHBREAK!

It's not fair!

I'm not having lunch with my Alkin. Ninakaw nanaman siya ng mga teammates niya sa'kin. L

Oh, well. I guess namiss talaga nila ang isa't isa gawa ng walang training nung summer.

This is the right time to look for my twin bestfriends! Ano nanaman kayang kalokohan ang ginagawa ng dalawang yun?

I saw them sitting on the last row with a guy.

WAIT... WHAT? With a guy?! You got to be kidding me.

There she is. Cleffie Andrea Miyuka, pulling the poor man's shoulder. Ano nanaman bang gusto ng babaeng to?

And the girl next to her is Cleffy Megumi Miyuka (pronounced as Clefay), her twin sister who is tolerating her sister's evil plan.

"Oy oy oy oy. Cleffie, Ano nanamang kahibangan to ha? First day, may nabiktima ka na kagad." - Sabi ko habang papalapit sakanila.

"Raine! I missed you!" - Biglang yakap sakin ni Cleffy.

"What's with her?" - Tanong ko sakanya sabay turo kay Cleffie.

"Eh kasi 'tong si kuya, ayaw mamansin. I just want to be friends."

"Hephephep. Tigil na yan. Can't you see, he's so annoyed. Hayaan mo na si kuya. Tara na, nagugutom na ako." - Sabay hila sakanya patayo at palayo kay kuya.

"Oh. Ilabas mo na nga yang kakambal mo. Bago pa ako mainis."

Tumingin ako kay kuya at humingi ng sorry. Kahit kalian ka talaga Cleffie.

I think I heard him said Thankyou pero paglingon ko ulit, wala na siya. Well, that is creepy alright.

"Hey you. Tell me, what do you want from that guy huh?" - I gave her a big "answer me or I'll kill you" face.

"Me? Nothing. Just wanna be friends. That's all."

"Who am I? Someone you met this morning? Hey, Cleffie! I'm your bestfriend for 3 straight years. You'll never fool me with that."

"There's no way she'll ever tell you. Let me explain." - Cleffy said.

"Go ahead." - I exclaim.

"That guy is a woman hater. Kalat na sa buong campus yun. Well, alam ko naming hindi mo pa alam yun kasi hindi ka naman chismosa na katulad namin." - Paliwanag ni Cleffy

"Oh. So what's the big deal?" - I asked curiously.

"Ewan ko ba dito kay kambal. All she wants to do is to prove them wrong. Kaya daw niyang maging kaibigan yung si Dale."

Ah... So Dale is the name.

Wait, bakit parang bigla ata akong nagging interested sakanya. Nevermind.
