Chapter 17

Callan's POV: I woke up at 10:30. It was Saturday and Ben wasn't in bed. I got out of bed and started getting ready. I wore a blue flannel and black skinny jeans with white and red converse. I walked outside and saw Elita sitting on a bench. She wore a white crop top and ripped jean shorts and her hair was down. I really didn't want to talk about what happened. In fact,I wanted to forget it happened,but I had to make things right. "Hey Elita." I said as I sat down next to her. "Oh, um hey Callan.." She said almost surprised. "We need to talk about what happened at prom.." I said almost whispering. "Ben hates me now." She said laughing. "No he doesn't! He could never hate you!" I said firmly." "He called me a bitch and flicked me off this morning,so he hates me." She said frowning at the memory. "He flicked you off?" I said. Ben can be pretty mean,but pointing a middle finger at someone was a little out of his character. "So did you and him make up?" She asked trying to change the subject. "Yeah we're good." I said giving her a re-ensuring smile. "Um Elita I have a question.." I said nervously. "Did you like kissing me?" I asked. "If I'm gonna be honest Callan yes,I did but I know you didn't mean it because I know how much you love Ben." She said. "I'm sorry...for kissing you it was stupid..." I said looking down. "Callan don't worry about it,I just don't want it to be awkward between us." She said putting her hand on my shoulder. "Well um I'll see you around." I said standing up. "Bye Callan!" Elita said hugging me as she walked back to her dorm.

                (Later that Day)

I went back to my dorm and saw Ben,it's like he doesn't even go out anymore. "Hey babe." I said as I sat next to him on his bed. "Why aren't you like hanging with Ethan or something,like you always do on Saturdays." I asked "Oh well I just didn't feel like going out today." He said smiling at me. "Well I talked to Elita today and she told me something interesting things..." I said giving him a side look. "She said you called her a bitch and flicked her off!" I said trying not to burst out laughing. "She is one..." Ben said coldly. "Wait,are you kidding?" I asked. "No..she needs to stop playing so innocent all the time and shove that little good girl act right up her a-"WOAH CALM DOWN BEN!" I screamed because I knew exactly what he was about to say! "I'm sorry I just really needed to get that out." He said taking a breath. "You too are gonna make up before graduation and that's a promise." I said putting my hand on his thigh. "Well graduation is 2 weeks away so I don't think
that's gonna happen." Ben said. Lemme take you somewhere." I said nudging him to the door.....
