"Looks like Ron stole the car again."─── Y/N POV ───
The Kings Cross station was busy with hundreds of muggles hurrying to catch their trains. The Weasley's, along with Harry and I, raced through the crowds as we made our way towards the hidden platform. Several groups of muggles eyed us as we pushed past, but I didn't pay them much mind. All I could think about was that it was finally time to go back to Hogwarts.
"Hey, watch where you're going!" A tall man spoke down to me.
Turning back sheepishly, I replied, "I'm sorry, sir! We're in a hurry!"
Without another word, I took off again, weaving through the crowds as I made my way closer to the platform.
"Wait up!" Harry called after me, his voice trailing as he and Ron struggled to keep up.
"Come on, slowpokes!" I teased, grinning widely.
"Oh dear! The train will be leaving any moment!" Mrs. Weasley called, her voice frantic. "All together now!"
I raced ahead, barely pausing before running full-speed through the brick wall, feeling the strange yet familiar jolt of magic pull me onto Platform 9¾. I quickly emerged on the other side, followed by Ginny, Fred, and George, but there was no sign of Harry or Ron.
"Where did they go?" I asked myself, taking a step towards the wall as my eyebrows furrowed.
"All aboard!" the conductor shouted as the train let out a loud whistle, signaling its departure.
I stood on my tip-toes, trying to see if I could spot them over the crowd. They were right behind me. With one last frantic glance at the wall, I made my decision and sprinted toward the train.
"Y/n! Come on!" Ginny shouted, already leaning out of the train door.
"I'm coming!" I replied, racing towards her.
I barely made it onboard as the train lurched forward, leaving me breathless. Sliding into an empty compartment next to Ginny, I collapsed into the seat, trying to catch my breath.
"I......am.....so.....tired." I say in between breaths.
"Me...too," Ginny replied, equally as exhausted.
Once my breathing returned to normal, confusion set in.
"Did you see Ron and Harry get on the train?" I asked, puzzled. "They were right behind us, weren't they?"
"Yeah, they were," Ginny shrugged. "But I didn't see them."
"Strange."
"They might've passed us?"
