CHAPTER SIXTY-TWO

"I wouldn't change a single thing."─── Y/N POV ───
"Mother, I'm scared," Katherine whispered, her small hand clutching mine tightly. Her wide blue eyes stared up at me, her blonde hair slightly disheveled from the rush to King's Cross Station.
"It's alright, love," I said softly, my voice steady and reassuring. "On the count of three, we'll run through the barrier together. Just like we practiced, okay?"
Katherine nodded hesitantly, her gaze darting toward the seemingly solid brick wall between platforms nine and ten.
"Ready? One...two...three!"
Hand in hand, we raced forward. The air rushed past us as we passed through the barrier, emerging on the other side amidst the bustle of Platform Nine and Three-Quarters. The gleaming red engine of the Hogwarts Express shined, steam curling into the cool morning air.
"Wow," Katherine breathed, her nervousness melting into awe.
I couldn't help but laugh, my own memories of this magical place flooding back. "I know, right?"
I then felt a pair of warm arms wrap around my waist. I smirked and turned around, facing Draco, my beloved husband.
"Remember our first time here?" He asked, smiling down at me.
"Like it was yesterday," I replied, my smile widening. "I thought you were insufferable, with that perfectly slicked-back hair."
Draco chuckled. "And yet, here we are."
Before I could respond, a gentle tug on Draco's robes drew our attention. Scorpius stood there, his face a mirror of Katherine's earlier nervousness. "Mum, Dad...I'm nervous."
I bent down, pulling both children into a reassuring embrace.
"Scorpius, Katherine, your father and I are so proud of you. You're going to do incredible things at Hogwarts. Maybe even get into a little trouble," I added with a teasing wink, making them giggle. "But most importantly, have fun. Just like we did."
Draco's hand rested on my shoulder as he crouched down beside me. "And remember, you've got each other. Always."
As the final boarding whistle blew, I pressed a kiss to the tops of their heads, lingering just a moment longer. "Go on now."
"Remember to write!" Draco called after them, waving as the train began to pull away.
Draco's arm then slipped around me again as we watched the Hogwarts Express disappear into the horizon. The sight of Katherine seated with a group of Gryffindor boys caught my eye.
"Are those...boys she's sitting with?" Draco said, tensing up, his eyebrows furrowing.
I bit back a laugh, leaning into him. "Let her be, Draco. She's only eleven."
"She's also my daughter," he muttered. "And those boys need to know who her father is."
I ruffled his hair playfully, grinning as he swatted my hand away. "Relax, darling. She'll be fine. She's strong. Just like her father."
"Just like her mother," he corrected.
Before Draco could respond, familiar voices called my name. I turned to see Hermione, Ron, Harry, and Ginny approaching, their faces lit with warm smiles.
It's hard to believe, isn't it?" Hermione said, waving at her own children through the train window.
"Hard to believe and bittersweet," I admitted. "It feels like just yesterday we were in their place."
"And somehow," Ron added with a grin, "we still managed to survive."
"I don't know how we managed that," Harry joked.
As we stood together, watching the train vanish into the distance, I felt Draco's fingers intertwine with mine. In that moment, surrounded by my closest friends and the man I loved, I knew life had come full circle. The four of us watched as the train made its way farther and farther away.
The next generation of wizards and witches making their way to Hogwarts.

The Three Broomsticks was just as I remembered — cozy, warm, and filled with laughter and conversation. The sweet, familiar scent of butterbeer hung in the air. It felt like stepping into a memory, one that wrapped itself around me and whispered, You're home.
I wrapped my hands around my mug, letting the frothy drink warm my palms.
"Who knew," I began, glancing at Draco across the table, "that having a fake boyfriend would turn into...this?"
His signature smirk appeared, the one that always made my heart skip a beat. "We broke every single rule on that list, didn't we?"
"All of them," I said with a laugh, turning the ring on my finger. "And I wouldn't change a single thing."
Draco leaned forward, his hand finding mine. His thumb brushed over my knuckles, a simple touch that still sent a shiver down my spine.
"Meeting you on that train was the best thing that ever happened to me. You were, and still are, the most beautiful girl I've ever seen."
My cheeks flushed, heat rising to the surface. It wasn't just his words, it was the way he said them, like he believed it with every fiber of his being.
"And you," I said softly, looking into his eyes, "are the most incredible man I've ever known."
"Most handsome, too."
I giggled and repeated. "Most handsome, too."
We stayed like that for what felt like forever, caught in the warmth of the moment. Outside, the leaves began to fall, but inside, everything was glowing. We talked about our first year at Hogwarts, the trouble we'd gotten into, the friends who had become family. We wondered about Katherine and Scorpius, imagining the adventures that awaited them beyond the castle gates.
When the evening came to an end, we stepped out into the crisp night air, his hand firmly in mine. The distant silhouette of Hogwarts rose against the starry sky, a memory of everything that had shaped us.
I stole one last glance at it and smiled.
All was well.
