"Okay Tyler. But remember to-" "Yes mom I'll remember." He said as he fiddled with his money. "Okay, bye hunny!" His mom said. He could hear his dad in the bakgrunn saying something along the lines of "Let the boy be, kelly." As he hung up. He laughed and put the money on the vending mashine.

He was going to drive for four and a half hour so he needed something to keep him up.
He tapped the buttons. "Come to papa." He said as he stared at the redbull container.
He picked it up and got in his car.

After driving for two hours his phone died.
"No music then." He said and rolled his eyes.
As he took a sip of his redbull a small kitten ran over the road."Shit!" Tyler yelled as he pulled over. He ran over to look if it was okay.
It wasn't hurt, but it looked frightend. "Hey." He said and lifted up the kitten. "You're so cute. Where are your home?" Tyler looked around. There were no houses there. So he took a blanket from his car and sworled the kitten in it. "You'll live with me then." He said and opened the car door. He emptied a tall box and put it in the passenger seat. And then put the kitten in the box. "There you go." He said to the kitten and smiled. The kitten had crystal blue eyes. And white and gray fur.

After one hour the kitten made a slight squeek. Tyler stopped at a shop and bought it some ham and cat milk. He put it in two paper bowls he brought from home. "Here you go." He said and plased the two small bowls in the box with it.

He had now been driving for four hours and there were only half an hour left. He thougt it was a good time to stop. He stopped at a little motel. And since he wasn't starting untuill tomorrow he could be there for the rest of the day. He walked to the front desk, a tall boy with dark hair stood at the desk. "Hello!" Tyler said and smiled. "Hi, what can i help you with today?" The boy said with a sweet voice. "I'm looking for a room." Tyler said. "Yeah, uhm let me just check." The guy said and typed something down on his computer. Tyler smiled and looked down. He looked around and saw the nametag on the guys suit. His name was Mark. Mark Eshleman. " there we go." He said and gave him the key to room 206.
"Uhm, I found a kitten along the road. And I was wondering if i could keep it inside." "Yeah. I don't see any harm in that." He said and blinked at Tyler. "Are you going to college?" Mark said and smiled to him. "Yeah, and you?" Tyler said and smiled back. "Yeah, it's my second year." Mark said. "Oh, cool. I'm starting tomorrow for my first year." "Cool, see you there." Mark said and smiled.

When Tyler had brought his backpack and the kitten inside he sat down at the bed. He couldn't hold it it. He needed someone. Someone who cared. Someone who could look at him and think thats my friend. Someone he could trust. He just needed someone.

Then the little kitten came and stroked its nose against Tylers feet. It started to purr. The kitten was dirty so Tyler filled some water in the bathtub and put the kitten in it. The kitten started to run around, but it didn't seem to care. The water reached the kitten to the belly. It played in the water while Tyler tried to clean it up. "You know what?" He said and looked over at the drying kitten. "I think I'm gonna call you Josh." He said and smiled. The cat jumped on the bed and fell asleep next to Tyler.
