Chapter 10

Louis POV

We all strolled through the mall in a big clump. El was cuddled up to me, Dani to Liam, and Perrie to Zayn. After complaining about feeling like a 7th, 8th, and 9th wheel, Niall and Harry had Maddy between them.

"Soooo, where should we go?" i asked. But before anyone could answer, we heard someone call

"Maddy!"

Maddy whipped her head around, looking for the source of the voice.

"Maddy Fordham!"

Her facial expression changed from confusion to joy as she spotted a tall guy with brown hair waving madly at her.

"Seth?!" She took off like a rocket, jumping into his arms as he twirled her around, both their heads thrown back as they laughed.

We all stood, stock still in shock. The whole day, or even the day before, we had never seen her so happy.

As we watched, a couple more kids came up to to them and joined in the reunion. A pretty, petite blond girl in jeans and a tee shirt. A gorgeous brunette with mocha colored skin and long limbs. A taller girl with thick, darker blond hair, holding the hand of a tall, slim, boy. Rounding out the group was a girl with caramel brown curls bouncing around her face.

After a few minutes, the group headed back our way, Maddy leading them to us.

When they reached us, she smiled and began introducing everyone.

"Guys, these are my friends."

"Seth." She gestured to the boy who had started the whole thing.

"Allie. Olivia" The short blond one and the pretty brunette girl.

"Bridget. Akiva." The couple.

"And Emma.." Curls girl.

Gotcha.

Maddy's P.O.V.

"Maddy Fordham!"

I turn around, scanning the mall for the source of the call. Wait....

"Seth?!"

I haven't seen him in almost 2 years. He's taller, and definitely different. But it's unmistakably him.

I sprint across the mall, and when I reach him, he lifts me up and spins me around. I laugh. It's so good to see him again!

As he sets me down, I see what I missed before. Standing behind him.

All my friends from America.

They practically tackle me with hugs. Allie, Olivia, Bridget, Akiva, and Emma.

"What are you guys doing here?!" I shriek, delighted that after almost 3 months, I get to see my BFFs again.

"Allies and Seth's parents got them this trip as a birthday present. Does it matter? We're here!" Emma explains, throwing her arms around me.

"Wait, how did you know I was gonna be here?"

Everyone shrugs.

"We didn't." Akiva says.

Suddenly, I remember the boys. Looking around at my friends, I can easily tell none of them have noticed Harry, Liam, Louis, Zayn, Niall, or even Eleanor, Danielle or Perrie. Livy and Allie would be absolutely flipping out if they had. They're both total fangirls.

Very carefully, I start walking back towards the other end of the mall, making sure everyone is totally focused on what I'm saying, and not to the celebrities barely 10 feet away from us.

"So, have you spotted any celebrities this summer? Perhaps some good looking British singers??" Livy asks. It takes everything I've got not to laugh. Olivia and I always planned to go to England and run into One Direction. It was the basis for many, many fanfictions we wrote.

"Funny you should say that Liv." I stop right in front of the boys.

I watch as all my friends eyes drift up to the guys and their girlfriends.

"Guys, these are my friends. Allie, Olivia, Bridget, Akiva, Emma, and Seth."
