Maddy's P.O.V.
Eleanor, Perrie, Dani and me are headed out to Fabric, a mega-popular club in central London.
It wasn't an easy undertaking. Perrie was pushing for a crazy blowout bash, and Dani wanted something small, with just a few close friends. I eventually proposed a compromise: Just the four of us, at the hottest dance club in the UK.
They were surprisingly agreeable.
Dani pulled up in front of the club, and Perrie and I led Eleanor, blindfolded, out of the car.
"Surprise!"
Eleanor looked up.
And shrieked.
"OMG!!"
"Welcome to your bachelorette party." Perrie said, making some kind of ridiculous grand hand gesture.
"I've been wanting to go to this club forever! You guys are the BEST!"
She turned to look at us.
"WHAT are you guys waiting for? Let's GO!!!" and she practically tore into the club, dragging me and the girls behind her.

Eleanor's P.O.V.
12 hours to the wedding.
Fabric is so cool. It was built into the basement of one of the Metropolitan Cold Stores, back in Victorian times, and renovated into this amazing three-room club.
Right now I'm sitting in the bar in Room 1, watching Per and Dani dance. Room 1 is most famous for what's called a "body sonic" dance floor, bases so loud the room literally vibrates. Perrie's wearing a red hot body-con, while Dani's dressed in a simple white dress with sequins that shimmers like its made of ice. I can tell they're having the time of their lives. It's so weird, how they can be so different, and be best friends at the same time.
Truthfully, I always felt a little bit like an outsider when I hung out with them.
But not anymore.
"Hey." Maddy slides into the seat next to me, wiping sweat off her face. She's been dancing nonstop for he past hour. She waves madly towards the bartender. "Cranberry juice. You want anything?"
"You're not having alcohol?"
"I'm only 18, remember? And besides, you guys need a designated driver."
"Okay. Glass of Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque."
"Ooh, fancy champagne." She wiggles her eyebrows in such a ridiculous way that I have to laugh.
I've never had a best friend before. And before Maddy I never thought I would.
She funny and tough and just a little bit insane.
For example, right now she's wearing a navy ruched mini dress, which she looks very pretty in. But the crazy thing is her shoes. Pale pink velvet with tiny white polka dots and gold trim, topped with two gold hearts with-get this-gnome dolls-as the heels.
She's not the least bit afraid to go her own way, or speak up for something.
Speak up for me.
"Here you go miss." The bartender says, handing me my champagne and Maddy her juice.
"Yum." She raises the glass to her lips, but pauses before she can take a sip. "El? Are you okay?"
"Yeah, it's just..........it's only 5 minutes to midnight. And when the clock strikes 12, it'll be my wedding day. And everything in my life is gonna change. Forever. And I'm.....I'm scared."
"Of course you're scared. This is a really big step. But I know you're ready for it. You love Louis, and he loves you. And if I had any concerns at all, I would tell you. You know I would. But over these last 6 months, I've seen how much you two care for each other. I've never seen a couple more devoted to each other than you two. You guys are perfect together. You want to spend the rest of your lives together. That's a bond few people are lucky enough to have. Trust in that. Don't give in to fear."
I smile. "Remember when Liam said 'You're wise beyond your years'? It's true."
Maddy giggles. "Stop it!"
"Dead serious. And I was wondering.....would you like to be my Maid of Honor?"
She stops giggling. "Are you for real?"
"100%. It'd mean so much to me. You're a great friend Maddy. My best friend. "
"You're my best friend too El. And I'd love to. But we still have one last night to just be us. So lets go and dance and have some fun and enjoy tonight."
I raise my glass. "To tonight."
She lifts her glass as well. "To tonight."
We clink, and down our drinks.
And race, laughing madly, onto the dance floor.

I can't wait for this book to end, and at the same time I want it to keep going forever.
