‘Its the last time.’ Cleo told herself, just like she usually did. She looked at her little Riaz across the room and smiled. ‘Such a nice girl.’ She thought. ‘Nothing like her mother.’ She was so wrapped up in her own world that she hadn’t realised that Riaz was trying to speak to her.

“I'm cold.” Riaz shivered. She never addressed her as mum or mummy. She just spoke to her. “I’m cold.” Riaz said a little louder this time. Cleo snapped out of her daze.

“I'm sorry baby, but there's no gas. I can’t turn on the heating until I top up. Maybe tomorrow.” Cleo comforted. Riaz scolded her. Cleo peered down at her stomach and rubbed it. “I love you, no matter what.” She whispered.

“Mum.” Riaz Whispered. She frowned at the foreign feeling she got after calling Cleo mum. “What are you doing here?” She dragged her mum away from the crowd. She hadn’t seen her mum since last year.

“Hello to you to Riaz. How are you?” Riaz pulled her outside of her work place.

“You don't care.” Riaz replied angrily.

“You know I do. I’m your mother Riaz, have some respect.” Riaz laughed devilishly.

“Oh really? You're my mother when it suits you. You haven’t even asked about Ice.” Cleo’s face dropped.

“How is Ice?”

“He’s fine. Doing great. No thanks to you.” Cleo watched Riaz’ distant expression. “What you doing here anyway?”

“Just come to see how you are. And Ice of course.”

“You mean, your boyfriend kicked you out and you have no where to stay. Well you can’t stay with me.” Riaz was used to her mum showing up out of the blue looking for a place to stay until she got her next boyfriend.

“Look, Riaz. It wouldn't be for long. Just until I get back on my feet.”

“You mean, just until you get your next fix.” Riaz scorned. “Do you remember when I was 17 and I let you stay with me. After a week you was gone. No goodbye or nothing. You just left.” Cleo said nothing. “Stay the fuck away from me, Cleo.” Riaz scolded her biological mother and left her standing there.

When Riaz stepped in her office, she was surprised to see Jayden sitting on her desk. “What you doing in here?” She smirked, walking towards him. When she got close enough, she wrapped her hands around his neck as he did her waist.

“Just came to see how you are. I heard you left the building a bit upset. You were with a woman?” Jayden spoke curiously.

“It was nothing. Just an old friend.” Jayden shrugged off the fact she was lying to him.

“Okay, so what you doing tonight?”

“Nothing that I know of.” Jayden grinned.

“Good. I’ll come and pick you up at 7.” Riaz nodded, kissing him. She moaned and pulled him over to the chair. He sat down on it and she sat on top straddling him. “We can’t do this again; we nearly got caught the last time.” Riaz ignored him and kissed down his neck. “The doors unlocked.”

“Oh shut up Jayden, live a little.” She unbuttoned his shirt and pulled it off.

“Ri,” She ignored him and carried on. She kissed from his lips down to his chest. “Come on Ri, we have plenty time for this later.” He whispered, obviously turned on.

“Are you gonna take off my clothes, or do I have to do it myself?” He chuckled and pulled off her top...

“We have to stop doing that. We could loose our jobs.” Jayden spoke as he buttoned his shirt.
