The One With The Spontaenous Trip

Dan had a best friend.

At 25 when he least expected to be someone's friend he found Phil Lester and that is how he found a new best friend.

Phil understood Dan in a way that he never really expected him or anyone to. And Dan was so grateful to have found Phil.

They would do lots of things together. They basically spent all the time together. Dan would help Phil in the bakery and babysit Snowball for him. And Phil would always keep stuffing him with his baked goods trying to fatten him up.

In conclusion, Dan Howell was the happiest he had been in a while.

All because of Phil.

"What?' Dan spluttered out.

"Why not?" Phil said.

"Phil I just can't come to Manchester with you," Dan said.

"But why not? I already told everyone that you will"

"Phil," Dan said. "I have work plus I hardly know your family and it is just a bit strange okay"

"It's my cousin's wedding."

"But that has nothing to do with me."

"I really want you to come with me," Phil said.

"Phil.."

"Dan just this one time and trust me it will be fun"

"I-"

"Please please please," Phil said.

"Fine" Dan huffed.

"Thank you for saying yes," Phil said as he threw his arms around Dan.

Dan still never got used of Phil's sudden hugs out of nowhere. But he liked them anyway.

"We are leaving tomorrow by the way," Phil said.

"You could have at least told me a few days prior," Dan said.

Phil just shrugged.

Dan really wasn't sure why was he going to Manchester. He had met Phil like 7 months ago and now he was going to his cousin's wedding. Why he didn't know he thought as he absentmindedly packed his clothes.

As Dan finished up there was a knock. It was Phil.

"Are you done?" he asked.

"Yeah"

"Let's go then, we have to take Snowball to Taryn as well," he said.

"Aw she is gonna be all alone," Dan said as he took Snowball from Phil's hand.

"Yeah I am gonna miss her so much," Phil said.

Dan handed Snowball back to Phil.

"I'll get my bag" 

Phil nodded as Dan went inside taking his bag and then checking if he had blown out the candles and turn off the stove. After making sure everything was okay he closed the door and went to find Phil who was waiting in the cab downstairs.

They went to Taryn and they dropped off Snowball. Phil was very emotional and Snowball scratched him twice as he tried to kiss her. Dan tried his best not to laugh.
