What exactly are you supposed to be in a relationship?

Dan was 25 and he had no idea.

Everything between him and Phil was exactly the same way it used to be before they put an official label on
their relationship.

The only difference being that they kissed a lot more than before and Phil would never let an opportunity
amiss to tell Phil just how much he loved him more than anything in this world.

Dan was really happy.

Work was even less fun than before and Dan found himself looking at the clock a lot but the time never
seemed to pass. He looked forward going home more than anything.
Home which meant Phil’s house which always had Phil and Snowball waiting for him.

He had practically moved in with  Phil. He spent most of the nights with Phil. They would watch movies or just talk but most of the time Dan would fall asleep way before Phil but
sometimes they would sleep together with Phil spooning Dan.

It didn’t happen a lot but it always made Dan happy as Phil’s arms would be wrapped around his stomach his
and Dan could feel Phil’s heart beat slowly and he would fall asleep to the sound.

Sometimes Dan would even convince Phil to play the violin and Phil would do it for him but only sometimes. Dan loved that the most about Phil.

When Phil played the violin he just liked observing Phil with his eyes
closed his lips slightly parted and Dan was fully aware that at the time it was as if Phil was transported to a completely different universe where only Phil and his violin existed. Dan knew how special it was for Phil and it always made him feel special that he was the only person who had ever seen Phil play a violin.

On the weekends Dan would bake with Phil well it was more of mixing and beating but he liked to help Phil.

Since they weren’t exactly outdoor people their idea of a date was an episode of a good anime along with
some Chinese. Dan was very happy to find someone who shared his love for Japanese cartoon.

On the rare occasions that they did go out on a date it was usually for a walk as Phil liked them a lot.They would walk holding hands and it was still pretty new for Dan as he had never actually held hands with anyone before and he liked the feeling. It was the most pure way you could show your affection for someone
just by holding their hand.

So when they did get an odd stare from someone Dan would just ignore it because it wasn’t worth it.

Phil being the sappy romantic he was would not hesitate to kiss Dan randomly even when they were at a store or something. He even showed up at Dan’s office once with lilies that
he had casually mentioned were his favourite flowers.

When Dan got off work there was Phil with lilies to escort Dan to a dinner date he had planned. Dan pretended he didn’t Matt looking at him as he got in the car with Phil.

Only 2 months in and Dan was in heaven already. He had never had anything in life be so perfect. It was
scary at sometimes how well everything was going on.

He had Phil Lester the most perfect human being in the world.

He was thinking all this as he sat on the rooftop on their building because it was a beautiful night and Phil
had insisted they should go out and enjoy the night and of course Dan said yes.

Phil was talking to Dan about some star in the sky but Dan didn’t really hear what he was saying. He was too
busy staring into Phil’s blue green eyes that never failed to fascinate him.

Dan knew what he was feeling now wasn’t just some feelings. It was much more than that.

Dan was convinced that he was actually in love with Phil.
However he wasn’t really sure if Phil was in love with him just yet.

A/N : Sorry this is quite short I know but it’s just a filler.

But it's 19th October today which means it has been exactly 7 years since Dan and Phil met. Idk what to say other than I am really happy they met each other. ❤
