Alec stood in a cobblestone dungeon, rusted iron bars were closed and he saw arms resting on the middle bar. A man with dark short hair that was slightly wavy and looked tousled. He had dark brown eyes and tanned skin. He was dressed in dark leather pants and a dark brown tunic that covered a long sleeved dirty white shirt. He wore leather black boots that reached just below his knees.

His eyes followed Alec's every movement and his lips remained in a thin set line. If Alec were being honest with himself he could see resemblances between himself and the strange man. He wasn't certain where he was or how he had come to be in such a strange place. The last thing he could recall was reaching towards Emerson as he felt as if he was going to faint. He then woke up here, lying on the floor and the strange man staring at him.

"You've been a sleep for a long time Alec; I was starting to think you'd never wake up." The man sounded just like the voice he had heard in his head, a voice he had only begun hearing since meeting Emerson.

"Who are you?" Alec demanded as he moved closer to the figure. The cell seemed to trap him, making Alec wonder why he was being imprisoned. The man, noticing Alec staring at the bars chuckled.

"You like them? It was this very cell that you decided to put me in, you created this place so you should be able to answer your own question." The man spoke as he leaned against the bars, resting his cheek against one as he watched Alec.

Alec frowned as he crossed his arms and mulled over the man's words. They were confusing to him, how could he have created this place and place a man he's never seen in said place? Alec moved to the side and peered out of the bared window, however there was nothing but total darkness outside the window.

Alec stepped back, confused as to why he couldn't see anything beyond the window. The man simple remained where he stood, a dull expression taking over his face as he watched Alec battle his thoughts. Letting out an annoyed sigh the man cleared his throat, bringing Alec's attention back to him.

"I'm you and you are me, we are two halves of the same soul." The man explained as recognition dawned on Alec's face.

This must be the Enochain Guardian, Ambriel. However Alec was still confused, why would a being said to be as great and powerful as the Guardian, be locked away. How could Alec be him when they had their differences, where Alec was not a great warrior as the Guardian was believed to have been?

"You don't think highly of yourself, do you? I wonder why it's so hard for you to accept who and what you are. Emerson has accepted it very easily it would appear." Ambriel spoke in a probing tone as if he was wanting Alec to think carefully about his words and how would choose to answer his questions or reply to his statements. Alec's eyes narrowed as he stepped out of arms reach from Ambriel and crossed his arms.

"I know who I and what I am, how do you know about Emerson?" He questioned in blunt tone, as if he thought Ambriel was lying about Emerson accepting what she was.

"Do you? I wasn't aware that you had accepted your duty as being the Guardian, if you did accept it, we wouldn't be in this position. We would be one and Emerson wouldn't have been attacked by those Ravenors." He snapped, his dark eyes darkening and Alec wondered if he would break free of the cell and attack him. Still, Alec held his ground as guilt washed over him.

"Our job is to protect Emerson and Rhamiel, regardless of which name they or we go by we are still the same souls. The names Emerson and Alec and your slightly new appearances doesn't change who you, who we, are." Ambriel spoke as his hands tightened on the bars.

"So far you've done a terrible job in protecting her, you let her get kidnapped, let her get lost and get attacked, what's next Alec? Are you going to let her die before you ACCEPT ME?" He screamed the last words, the bars suddenly vanished and Ambriel was free, running towards Alec and punching him.
