The mansion was dark and empty, dust settled over every inch of the furniture, covering the floor and stairwell. The paper doors was faded and the windows were boarded up. The entire property had not been used for almost ten years and in that time the mansion was left a faded and dusty memory.

Magnus stood in the small garden, having arrived moments ago he could tell no one had been in the mansion since Tessa, Emerson and himself. His golden eyes flickered around the area, knowing no one was inside he headed towards the back yard.

He never learned where Yue lived, after he had met the little goblin Emerson had informed him that night that Yue never wanted to see him again. Emerson herself hadn't asked Yue why and Magnus didn't want to push her into finding out so he left the goblin and girl be.

He could see the mansion as it once had been, bright and open, full of laughter and the sound of small feet running all through out. He wished he could have her back, that innocent child who would laugh and speak for hours about nothing and everything at once.

As he entered the back yard he saw that the grass was grown and the swing set rusted and falling apart. The small koi pond was long since abandoned and was nothing but cracked marble. The water and fish long since dried up and gone, he could still see Emerson leaning against it, naming the koi in his native tongue, laughing as she proudly pronounced each word correctly.

He shook his head and headed towards the old cherry blossom tree, the tree where he would often see Emerson sitting underneath and speaking softly to herself. When he reached the tree he waved his hand as his eyes glowed and blue mist formed and spread out from his hand, encasing the tree. The magic faded and his eyes returned to normal as he tucked his hands back into his coat pockets and waited, counting the seconds that ticked by.

However nothing happened and he was left feeling discouraged, he turned and headed back into the mansion, walking up the wooden stairs and towards Emerson's old room. He passed Tessa's room and he paused, staring at the closed door silently. He still refused to allow himself to think of his old friend or of her recent death.

With a shake of his head he carried on until he reached Emerson's room and he slid the door open. He used his magic to create light enough so he could see the room clearly. It looked the same but what caused Magnus to frown was that the entire room was still perfectly cleaned. It looked as if Tessa and Emerson had just finished cleaning it and they had left to head to the kitchen for tea.

"Bane, Bane, take Eno, where is Eno?" The familiar scratchy voice of the Yue sounded from beside Magnus.

He turned to see the old goblin standing on her white desk in his hand he held a paper flower Emerson had made long ago. The yellow paper was faded and crumpled but still the Yue held tightly to it. It was the only thing the goblin had left of his dear friend. He had kept her room free of dust and would run off all other creatures when they tried entering the mansion.

"She's all grown up Yue, it's been some time." Magnus began as he walked forward and debated on taking the flower from the goblin. However he paused as he recalled how fondly Emerson had been of the little devil and although she probably didn't remember him, Magnus still didn't want to hurt the goblin.

"Left Yue, all alone, Yue waited, waited for Eno, Eno come back, Eno take Yue with Eno." Yue spoke in his broken English as he sat at the edge of the desk, patting and rubbing the paper flower as his ears hung down.

"What do you mean, take Yue with Eno?" Magnus questioned. He knew that when Tessa had fought a river demon she had packed Emerson's clothes before taking her off during the night, Magnus had managed to rack them down months later.

"Night, Eno's momma take Eno at night. Eno say Bane come back, Yue wait, Yue go with Eno with Bane come back." Yue said as he nodded his head to his words and stood staring eerily at Magnus.

"Even as a child she knew things, it was no wonder as she got older she became more withdrawn." Magnus pieced the truth together.

The reason for Emerson's shift in personality, the reason she hardly laughed or smiled, the reason she stayed home and away from the world was because she saw the shadow world and knowing Emerson she didn't want to acknowledge it so she hid.

"Eno up, Eno grown." Yue nodded as he set the paper flower down and laid on his stomach, using his magic to pull the drawer out and a picture float out and to him as the drawer closed. Magnus watched with curiosity as Yue smiled an eerie and toothy grin at the picture before motioning for Magnus to come closer.

"Eno up, Eno pretty," Yue spoke as Magnus moved closer and stared down at the drawing of Emerson. She looked just as she did now and Magnus narrowed his eyes.

"How did you get this?" He demanded as he snatched the drawing away but Yue clung to it and was left dangling in the air.

"Eno Duel tell Yue, Yue draw Eno, Eno Deuel tell Yue, Yue see Eno again." Yue huffed as he tugged at the picture and swatted his hand at Magnus. Magnus shook the picture as he frowned, Eno Deuel, could that be the name of another Enochian Angel? If that were the case how can this goblin know and why would it be talking to a being that is supposedly dead.

"You have three seconds to explain how you know that name before I kill you." Magnus threatened as he gave a coy smile at the goblin who stuck his tongue out at Magnus before vanishing with the drawing. He reappeared on the desk, the picture no longer in sight.

"Yue know all Eno's siblings, Yue very old, Yue no Eno when Eno was young, when Eno had Am." Yue spoke as he sat down on the desk and picked up the paper flower and ignored Magnus.

"You were alive during the time of the Enochian's" Magnus let out a laugh at the idea of a goblin living that long, goblin's life spans might be longer that a humans but they were not immortal.

"Yue first goblin, Yue first goblin to love, first to not hate other kinds." Yue spoke as he stood and offered Magnus the flower.

"Bane take Yue to Eno? Yue wait no more for Eno, Please?" The goblin questioned as he started directly at Magnus.

Magnus wasn't certain as to what he should believe, the idea was absurd but then Magnus was far use to things being never as they seem. After a few moments Magnus took the paper flower from Yue and tucked it into his pocket as he turned and created a portal.

"Bane go, Yue go?" Yue questioned from behind him. His tone was heartbroken, as if the mere thought of being left behind crushed him. Magnus paused and looked back to the goblin who now was sitting back on the desk, his ears hiding his eyes with his hands over them.

"I don't have all day," Magnus sighed. At this Yue vanished and reappeared on top of his head and he grumbled as the goblin cheered.

"To be a goblin you're not acting like one." Magnus muttered as he readied himself to enter the portal back to the Institute.

"Yue think Bane not act like Warlock." Was all Yue replied with as the pair entered the portal.
