"Clary isn't going to be happy." Jace muttered from where he stood.
Luke glanced upwards and over at him and nodded. He had a feeling Jace was right, when Clary found out that not only did Luke know but Jace as well, there was no telling what she or even Jocelyn would say or do. Jace had come to Luke earlier that morning and told him that Alec had explained all that he knew; from there Luke filled him in only to later fill Emerson and Alec in on what he had found out.
"She hates the color yellow, who hates yellow?" Emerson muttered from where stood.
She was eating from an ice cream container and had taken to wearing a sunshine yellow dress with black leggings and had a thin black belt that hung loosely around her waist. Her hair had been brushed and braided and was now hanging over her left shoulder. Alec stood next her, his usual serious look gleamed and Luke wondered if he had showed Emerson anything other than him being serious or stern.
"It's bright?" Jace remarked looking at Emerson.
He smirked as she gave him a wide-eyed stare before sticking her tongue out at him and went back to eating her ice cream. Jace snorted and looked back to Luke who was now closing and stacking books. They were all four currently hiding in the library and had just been informed that while they now knew Rhamiel and Ambriel were supposedly an Enochian Angel and Enochian Guardian that supposedly had eight other brothers and sisters.
It was believed to have been killed before the Archangels were created or right around the time of their creation. Luke had found that the writings in the journals were Enochian but there was no way to translate them as the Enochian language had given way to what they called runes. Now they were contemplating on contacting Magnus, who Luke had informed them had left, and see if they could get him to help.
"We have a mission; we can't waste our time on Magnus." Alec cut in glancing to the girl next to him.
He understood that Magnus was all she had and he hadn't wanted to upset her. However it seemed she was ignoring the men and was focusing on eating all of the ice cream. It was then that Alec took notice of what flavor of ice cream she was eating.
He let out an annoyed huff before reaching down and snatching it from her hands. It almost gone and he questioned why he didn't see it coming. He had made the mistake of letting her go to the kitchen on her own and now almost all of his ice cream was gone.
"I was eating that." Emerson stated in an annoyed tone as she glared at Alec.
He ignored her as he moved it away from and focused back on Luke and Jace, who were now watching them with smiles. He went to say something rude to the pair was stopped when he felt Emerson grabbing at his arm. He lifted hi arm upwards and gave her a blank stare as she started trying to reach the carton of ice cream that was now way above her head.
"Alec I'm hungry!" Emerson let out an annoyed huff as she spoke, jumping in place and mentally cursing his tall height as well as her own.
"It's mine, you've ate enough. Luke, do you think the reason she eats so much is because she's supposedly the Angel of Light?" Alec questioned, ignoring Emerson as best as he could. It was difficult, with her standing so close to him and jumping and complaining. He wanted to laugh at how cute she looked.
"It would make sense, food turns to energy and energy turns to light." Luke replied a smile forming on his lips as he watched the usually easily annoyed Shadowhunter stand there and not be bothered by a jumping girl. Jace, who was trying to not laugh, cleared his throat as he voiced his question.
"Does the mark of the Anahera just give Emerson her powers or," Jace trailed off as Emerson stopped trying to get the ice cream and turned to give him a quizzical look.
