Dan woke up with an initial moment of panic before he realised he was at Phil's house. Wait, Phil's house?
Then he remembered. He must've fallen asleep before Phil called the taxi. Phil was too much of an angel to wake him up.
Dan got up, retrieved his jacket and left. He couldn't relock the door but Phil would most likely be awake soon so it'd be fine.

Phil woke up to a door closing and he soon realised it was Dan. He was gone. Phil immediately called Chris who had miscalled him twelve times.
Chris picked up before it had rung once, "Phil what the fuck?"
"Hi to you too,"
"You were supposed to keep me updated! What happened?"
"He apologised, again, we walked home-"
"To your house?!"
"Yeah, keep up, I called him a taxi but he fell asleep on my sofa so he stayed the night," Phil explained.
"So now what?"
"What?"
"Are you two just friends now or..." Chris trailed off.
"Well yeah, I mean, I don't know if I can trust him. He cheated on me," he mumbled the last part as if he was ashamed.
"Yeah... at least you're friends still. You never know, you might to learn to trust him again. He really does love you Phil,"
"I know," Phil said even though he didn't truly believe it.
Maybe Dan would get another chance, Phil didn't know when but secretly, deep down, he really wanted to give him one.
