Two weeks later Dan had decided to move into the dorms at university.
The bus rides were getting ridiculous and the buses were never on time, ever.
Dan also hadn't seen his boyfriend in two weeks. On the first weekend his new roommate, Joe, was hosting a moving in party and on the second weekend he had a huge assignment to catch up on. He'd text him everyday for hours on end but it wasn't the same.
He had plans to go see him after just less than a month but he didn't know if that was going to happen.
Suddenly, his phone pulled him out of his thoughts, Phil.
"Hey Dan!" Phil's chirpy voice practically shouted.
"Whoa Phil, volume." Dan laughed.
"Sorry, I just miss you," Phil said solemnly.
"I miss you too, baby. I promise I'll come visit this weekend,"
"Alright, good," Phil's voice perked up.
"Hey, I gotta go, I talk later okay?"
"Oh, sur -yeah that's fine," Phil mumbled, disheartened.
Phil felt that him and Dan had drifted apart since he went away to university. He missed Dan and texts and phone called were becoming infrequent.
Dan would be coming home soon for the summer vacation so they would be able to hang out more. He missed being couple-y with Dan. Stealing kisses and watching terrible daytime television. He didn't want to see Dan and Alex so they could hang out as they did the day before Dan left. He wanted to be able to mess Dan's hair up, left him fix it then kiss him just to mess it up again.
He had never wanted anything more than he wanted Dan in this moment.
