Dan and Phil stayed at the park until 1am just talking about nothing in particular and laughing about everything.
Dan looked at Phil with a look full of love as Phil watched a fox just a few metres ahead of him.
They were sat peacefully on the red, rusted swing set underneath the array of twinkling stars and planets.
"I love you, Phil, I really do,"

Phil say on the wood chips and Dan sat beside him. Dan curled into Phil's side and Phil wrapped his arm around his waist, pulling him impossibly closer.
"I won't hurt you, not again," Dan said.
