Two weeks later Phil got home and his parents hadn't visited. He'd received a few texts but that was it.
Dan took all of Phil's clothes up to his room and left them there for the time being.
"Phil," Dan sighed, "why'd you do it?"
Phil's smile dropped immediately, "what?"
"You know what I mean, Dan pulled his legs up so he was cross legged on the sofa. Phil sat at the opposite end and looked at him.
"Life got too hard," he sighed, "my parents have gone and I thought I'd lost you. I don't wanna lose you," Phil was almost in tears.
"You won't lose me," Dan shook his head.
