Phil mum burst into his room at 6am.
"Ph-" she stopped when she saw the two boys cuddled up together and smiled sadly.
She exited the room and left them to sleep. She got ready for work and left. She needed to talk to Phil later on that day.
An hour later Phil woke up because Dan had kneed him in the stomach.
"Dan," he groaned, "you're ruining my beauty sleep."
"You don't need it," he replied quickly.
Phil laughed and shook his head.
"I'm not going to school."
"You don't have too. Stay off all you want," Phil told him.
Dan nodded, "my mum wants me home to babysit at twelve though," he complained.
"Alright. Do you just wanna have a lazy day?' Phil offered.

They both stayed in bed and just talked for a few hours before Dan got up and got changed.
Dan sighed, "I don't wanna go."
"You've gotta, your mum needs to go out."
Dan sighed and pulled his top over his head, "bye, I love you,"
"I love you too,"

Phil's mum got back at seven that night.
"Phil!" She called him, "come here please!"
Phil groaned before getting up and going downstairs.
Phil frowned at his mother who was stood, smiling nervously, in the middle of the room.
"Sit down." She gestured to the sofa.
Phil complied and she carried on, "Phil, there's really no other way to say this but we're moving to New York."
"Oh, that's it? That's fine,"
"No Phil, you're coming too,"
