"I'm starting school in September," Phil said as Dan walked through his front door.
"What?"
"I'm taking English Literature," he nodded.
"Oh, right."
They didn't do much after that. Dan sat on the floor in between Phil's legs and Phil messed with his hair and they watched terrible low budget movies.
At around 7pm it was starting to get dark.
"Do you wanna stay over?" Phil offered.
Dan nodded, "yeah, definitely. Let me just call my mum," he accepted, pulling his phone out of his pocket.
After an extremely short phone call and Dan realising he had no pyjamas Phil went to get two pairs of lazy clothes.
He gave them to Dan who went into the bathroom to change. Phil got changed in the living room and was covered with a blanket by the time Dan was ready.
"What movie you you wanna watch?"

After watching a few more terrible romance movies Dan yawned and laid down, putting his head in Phil's lap.
"Come on Dan, let's go to bed,"
Dan stood up sleepily and followed Phil upstairs. He got into bed and pulled Phil impossibly close, resting his head on Phil's chest.
"I love you, you know,"
"I love you too," Dan sighed, "I always think you're too good for me. I don't know how I managed to get you and then ruin it,"
"Hey, listen to me, okay? All that matters is right now and what you're doing right now. And right now we have each other, that's all that matters," Phil told him sternly, "I love you," he repeated.
"I love you too." He looked up and kissed Phil on the side of his jaw, "goodnight,"
