Three weeks later and Dan hadn't had any more weird time losses.
"Dan! I'm just going to get milk, I'll be like, twenty minutes, I love you,"
"Okay," Dan called back a little too quietly.
"Dan?"
"I said okay," Dan laughed falsely.
"Okay baby, I'll be back soon,"

Dan sat on the floor, staring blankly. He could hear...something. He couldn't figure out what it was but it was inside his head. He frowned strongly and squeezed his eyes shut as tight as he could. It'd been there for at least two days, Dan didn't know, and it was ever so slightly getting louder.
At first it wasn't even noticeable but slowly, slowly it was there and it was driving him insane.
It was getting louder faster and the feeling, whatever that feeling was, was overwhelming. Dan covered his ears but it was no use, it was still there.

"I'm back," Phil called in a singsong voice. After no reply Phil made his way upstairs, "Dan?" Phil walked into the bedroom to see Dan hunched over on the floor covering his ears. "Dan, baby, what's wrong?"
