That night, Phil was trying to get Dan to take his medication.
"No, I don't want to,"Dan said calmly.
"Dan, baby, you need to," Phil tried to persuade softly.
"But I'm not sick!" Dan exploded suddenly.
Phil stood in silence for a second. Times like this he hated just how sensitive he could be, "please," he almost begged, "you need to take it, Dan, otherwise it's dangerous." Phil was visibly shaking and he had tears in his eyes threatening to spill, "just please take your pills."
"I'm not sick," Dan said weakly, trying to persuade himself more than anyone. He felt exceptionally guilty. He was the reason tears were in those beautiful eyes of Phil's. And he was the reason that Phil was so emotionally strained.
He took his pills.
