Another Eric prompt, this one was: "I am not losing you again!"
-----------------------
"I am not losing you again!" Eric huffed, the metal handcuff clasping around her wrist.
"So this is how you expect to keep me in your sight?" Honor raised her brow, trying her best not to break out into laughter. "Not exactly your best plan."
Lifting her wrist, Honor involuntarily jerked Eric's arm up as well. Handcuffing her to him wasn't his brightest idea, in fact it was the worst idea anybody in Dauntless had ever come up with.
How else was Eric supposed to keep the unruly blonde in his sights? He had tried locking her in his apartment, she'd climbed out the window, scaled a ledge and let herself in through the neighbouring window. After her daring, typical Dauntless escape he had handcuffed her to a rail in the back stairway.
Again, it was a matter of minutes before he saw her skipping across the pit with a stupid grin on her face. She'd managed to pick the lock. Handcuffing her to him was the only other option, short of pushing her into the chasm.
Eric snarled, he had better things to do today. Asked to keep an eye on Honor, until she was let off of probation for setting half of the cafeteria on fire, Eric was less than impressed. Couldn't one of the other leaders do this? Surely someone had less important things to do.
Someone in this damn faction, other than him, should be available to babysit this crazed pyromaniac, escape artist.
"You keep running off, so unless you stay put, this is the best I have." Eric grumbled, walking along a hall way toward his office. Making quick steps to keep up, Honor did her best not to smack the wall as they rounded a turn.
"You could shoot me." Honor piped up. She had an incline of Eric's true feelings. "Or use a neurostim dart. There must be a serum somewhere to temporarily paralyze me."
"If you don't shut up, I am going to lose it. Then we can test all of your little theories." Eric's tone was slightly menacing.
"Why are you in charge of me, anyway?" Honor wondered as she continued to be drug along. "Looking after someone who burnt down the cafeteria isn't exactly high on the list of important faction issues."
"You burnt the cafeteria, you injured three people, and you keep running away from the compound." Eric huffed, stopping abruptly. Jerking his arm, he yanked her closer. "What the hell is wrong with you? Are you that bored here? If you don't want to be Dauntless, then allow me to introduce you to the factionless."
Honor rolled her eyes in reply. There was no use in trying to argue her point, Eric wasn't finished. The clenched jaw and borrowing stare told her so.
"You'd like the factionless, or rather they'd really like a pretty thing like you." Eric turned up his nose. "You want to injure people and set fires? Maybe you could do that fighting over food and something to wear."
"Fuck you, Eric." Honor grumbled and glared at him.
Factionless, as if. She had worked her ass off, coming in from Amity, initiation hadn't been easy on her. Amity hadn't been a picnic either, it was obvious the devious troublemaker wasn't cut out for the peace and love the other faction preached.
"Only in your dreams." Eric shot back.
"Why don't you hook that other cuff to your bed and we can find out." Honor grinned, ear to ear, winking at the leader.
