After Dark

(Lily's P.O.V)

I was awoken from my dreams by my phone alarm blaring out it's annoying tune, signalling it was time for me to wake up. I groaned before rolling over and switching it off. I then sat up and groaned muttering many profanities.

I stood up feeling my fluffy carpet tingling and warming in between my toes. I walked to my boxes taking out my 'Aussie shampoo and chicken' then to my enclosed bathroom and switched the shower on. Stripping from my pyjamas and putting a playlist on my docking station which was yet to be put in its correct place.

I felt the water to feel the temperature, once I decided it was okay, I stepped into the shower washing my body with coconut shower wash. I then washed my hair with my shampoo and then my conditioner. I pulled a comb through the conditioned hair before washing it off.

Once I stepped out the shower I wrapped a towel around my small body and then another around my hair. I walked into my bedroom and over to door to ensure it was locked, I then walked over to my dresser in the closet taking out my white lace underwear set and putting them on.

I looked through my jeans, thank god my mum helped me un-pack my outfits. I then took out my light, ripped denim jeans, white vest and my white converse, I then quickly slipped on my ankle bracelet before putting on my clothes.

After that I went over to my dressing table, I took my hair from its towel and let it fall down my back. It was natural curly so I decided to carefully dry it slightly, leaving the rest to air dry.

I put my iPhone into my back jean pocket and my earphones into my jacket pocket. Before picking up my purse, making sure I had my cash in it. It had plenty of cash inside and my credit cards.

I took my purse and placed it into the bottom of my bag as well as a pen and pencil.

Once I heard Megan's horn from outside i quickly ran out to the car jumping in and smiling at her.

She wore green fabric shorts,her pale legs showing and some gorgeous black boots as well as a plain shirt.

"Nice car" i smiled whilst shutting the car door behind me.
"Thanks, it's my baby" She joked

School was another 15 to 20 minute drive so me and Megan learnt a lot about each other on the way. I learnt that she was 17 and some more about her background and her family. She also learnt a lot about me too.
Today she was also going to introduce me to her friend Sarah Moore.

We walked down the halls and I looked at my new time table which, luckily, I had most my lessons with Megan. I had physics (science) and English literature without Megan though.

I also found out that GYM class was with girls and boys, uni-sex, great...
The only sports I could do were netball and volleyball!

The first 4 periods went fast, I didn't have physics or English literature today but I had gym last!
Good job I brought gym clothes with me just in case.

It was currently lunch, where I would finally get to meet Sarah.

"Lily, Sarah, Sarah, Lily" Megan said introducing the two of us to each other.

"Hey, nice to meet you" I gushed.

"Yeah you too, I love your jeans" she said.

"Thanks, I like your jacket" I answered.

Sarah was a beautiful girl with brown hair just past her shoulders, with big brown eyes. She had a great personality as well and we all had plans for tonight after school to go shopping, I couldn't wait!
