Siya was trembling inside, it was the second time she was hearing that outrageous voice laced with anger- the earlier was when Abhi fought with Jeff in school. She could hear him coming near him and was preparing herself for some blast.
"I thought Shikha pays you to work not chat here," Abhi growled at her.
Before she could interject he turned towards Yug," and I think you were leaving? " he said so causally that it seems to shoo him out right at the moment.

"Was on my way, Mr. Rathore," he smirked and left.

"Get back to work," he ordered and turned his back towards her.
He too was confused, again he was feeling weird. Why was he affected by her wedding news? She could marry anyone for all he cares, moreover he has a beautiful fiancé himself. Yeah, the clingy one, he added silently.

It was 10:30 at night, the crowd in cafe was null, it was their closing time and as usual Siya was closing the cafe. She was locking the door while humming up the song. The least she expected was her family to come and meet but as she stepped out she was shocked to see her mother standing there with  permanent frown of hers.

"Ma, what are doing here? In the night?" She asked with concern.

"I come to meet you. Your brother dropped me here," she explained.

"He could've waited then," she interjected, a part of her was happy to see her mother here. She had almost forgot what felt to be loved by the mother. Another part of her was anticipating something from her other than motherhood.

"Oh, I didn't want to see your face but just for your brother, I am here," she said with venom, she couldn't believe it was her own mother who was saying those heart wrenching words. Tears stung in her eyes  but she let them on bay.

If it was so hard to see me, why did you come mother?" Sge asked her mother in same voice.

"Marry Yug. Yes, marry him and let us get free from the burden of a daughter. You've brought us nothing but shame. The whole society is questioning your relationship with the boy your living with; it's best for all if you marry Yug. God knows how more humiliation you're going to bring on us. We are so tired of you and just want to get rid, how can you face yourself after sleeping with that boy. I never knew my daughter was this desperate for money," her mother threw a disgusted look on her.
Great! Now her life is the daily soap drama she loathed. How could her own mother doubt her character? Don't she trust her? That's why she left her house. And she wasn't the pathetic girl who would just cry; even it's her own mother, she would stand fir herself.

"Abhi and me are just roommate, Ma. If it wasn't you and bhai I would be living quite happily with Shikha. And I know who I'm and how I am. I don't need your character certificate, you don't even trust your own daughter," she almost shouted.
"And as for marrying, it's my decision. The day I left home was the day you all were free from my duties and responsibilities, you have no say in my life," she said and left leaving her mom shocked.
She was happy that she stand for herself but her heart was bleeding to know what she was in the eye of society. Though it doesn't matter to her but still she wabted to be good and fair but now she was just a hoe and she couldn't help te tears falling from her eyes.
She had decided what she had to do now.
