“So? Don’t recognize me? Well I thought you would go Alpha on me,” that man asked with a smirk. “I can still do that but we are not in high school anymore,” Abhi retorted with the same pride in his eyes, something told him that he is the competitor he was looking for so long. “Oh! Really? Not even when I ask Siya out with me?” he tried to infuriate Abhi again. “Let’s keep her out. I don’t want to involve her now when I’m meeting an old friend,” Abhi interjected not liking the strange man talking about Siya. Though he understood they could be friends but still it itch him dangerously. “Still the same possessive boyfriend, Abhimanyu Rathore?” the man asked him with a mischievous laugh. “What do you mean?” Abhi suddenly asked. It was weird to hear the word ‘boyfriend’ from him. Does that mean he and Siya were in some sort of relationship? “Stop playing dumb, you rascal. You’re acting weird and I thought it was just to tease me but now it’s going overboard,” that man replied irritatingly. “I’m sorry to tell that I don’t recognize you, buddy but it’s natural for a person who had lost his memory and is left with vivid memories,” sadly replied Abhi. The man was shocked; he has not expected this from Abhi. It’s like there was some power on earth who was playing, it was some sort of unwritten rule that Abhimanyu can never forget Siya.
"So you're saying that you hadn't recognized me? " the man asked him. The waiter came with their coffees and it was good since there was possibility that someone might die of shock.
" That's what I mean when I introduced myself, " Abhi cleared his confusion. And as smart he was to pick the clue he started introducing himself too. "I am Jefrin D'angelo, also known as jeff by you all, " he said and sipped his coffee to ease the shock.
Abhi chuckled lightly, "Why I am having the instinct that you and I were long lost players of a certain competition? " Jefrin shrank back in his seat smirking all the way towards Abhi, "that certain competition would be Siya,my friend."
The realisation of the enemity among the two was happened to him long ago when they meet but the reason behind it totally blew off his mind. Siya? As in Siya, the one who is living with him? The one on whom he has been developing a crush lately? Oh no! That was bad bad idea, now all he has left was to listen to another nerve wrecking story to hear.
