About halfway through the game I look up at the varsity boys in the stands at our out of town game.
I see Casin yelling "LETS GO EMBRY LETS GO!" And I see Cauy smiling at me making faces which causes me to laugh during our chant.
End of game comes for jr. varsity and I head to the concession (stand).
Cauy runs down to meet me and I say," Why were you making faces at me bro?"
He laughs and says ," I was trying to mess you up smart one " as he ruffles my hair I slap him arm saying that I'm not redoing my perfect hair as I look up at his own dirty blonde hair and when he notices he bends down so I can fix it. He's 6'7" already and then stands back up.
He laughs and pulls me into a bear hug. I smell his hay scent since he lives on a farm and it's amazing. You see he's like my brother and so I had no choice but to hug him back.
I hear Casin coming so I pull away and so does Cauy.
"You're doing amazing Embry!" he says as we make it to concession. Pulling me into a hug.
"Thank you!" I say back and he grabs my hand and then some boys call him from afar.
" I got to go actually," He says running towards some guys.
"Well that was quick."Cauy says throwing his arm over my shoulders.
"Aw y'all are a really cute couple! Let me take a pic and send it to you Embry!" Jean from the yearbook says smiling.
"We aren't a couple," I say.
"At least let me get yalls picture!"
"Only on my phone," I say to her handing it over(iPhone 7).
She snaps our picture and hands me my phone back. "See ya later girl!" She says leaving. Her blonde hair waving.
I order my normal M&Ms and Coke then with Cauy's arms still on my shoulders we walk back to the stands.
Cauys talking to me what happened in history when I see Casin turn around and I throw Cauys arm off of me telling him sorry.
"Hey Embry we were just talking bout you!" Casin says as he walks up to me laughing.
Cauy walks up behind he and gives my hand a tight squeeze before draping his arm over my shoulders again.
"What's this?!" Casin asked pointing at Cauys arm and Cauy retorts, "dude she's my best friend get used to it!" I quickly stop what was about to be a fight.
Cauy simply grabs me and pulls me behind his back as he's trying to be my protection.
The last thing I remember was diving in front of Cauy to stop a punch from Casin.
